Some of the prettiest and most delicious Indian/Pakistani food we’ve ever been served! Service was exceptionally friendly too.

We stopped by here on the way to Anaheim after having arrived at LAX and being starving after our 6 hour flight. We got the lunch special, which included three different types of curries and meats and an order of butter chicken. My partner and I are avid Indian cuisine eaters, so we’ve had great and not so great curries and meats before, and this place was one of the better ones. AMAZING flavours and tandoori chicken charred just right and butter chicken that was so flavourful.

I was concerned that this place seems to either get a 1 star or 5 star. Some of the 1 starts are apparently the result of them cancelling lunch orders online, but that seems unfair when that happens at many places. Some people said that the restaurants management has changed too, but as a first time visitor, I was definitely happy with my experience. The biryani, kabobs, and nihari were excellent, and the customer service was great (although the heavier set guy that some people complain about was not there). The place definitely needs to be renovated.

I could give this restaurant zero stars but that’s not a option google has. The cashier, who I believed was the owner had a terrible attitude. Place was not clean at all. Bathrooms filthy. Okay let’s look past all this and let’s rate the food because that’s why we go there. The food an F. He gave us stale chicken which was so hard to chew. The naan was more like pita. The white rice tasted like rubber and the chicken boti was burned and not chewable. If your a tourist then avoid this place at all costs. It’s seems they have a tourist radar that lets them know to rip us off. This review is from a good citizen to another. Save your money.

I must say, walking through the door most people would not expect much. Just wait until you get to try the food. It is amazing and gave me the sense of “home cooked” meal. So do not be discouraged by the interior design, after all you are not going to eat the interior of the restaurant. Oh by the way, even the drink beverage such as the one I had, Afgani Lasi (i may be misspelling) is made to order and is very refreshing.

It’s not the fanciest atmosphere … But it’s beautifully authentic Pakistani food! And the waiter is respectful & polite. We have moved out of Ca, but We come here every time we are in town!
