We stopped in tonight to grab a bite to eat. We were in complete shock to hear that our favorite person Melissa was let go. One of the reason we were loyal customers was to see Melissa’s smiling face. She was the best of best and so incredibly kind and loving. Our days of going to this establishment ended tonight.

Nothing to complain about. This place has been here since I can remember. I think, maybe, when I was 14-15 is when I was introduced to Homegrown Pizza.

Used to be a neighborhood go to. New mgmt is quickly messing things up. First they fired our favorite server Melissa and now the quality of the pizza just doesn’t seem the same. Spend your $$ elsewhere.

I have been coming here for 15 years and order about once a week. They have great pizza, salads, and sandwiches. The food is nothing fancy but it’s consistently good! Special shout-out to their ranch dressing.

They have the best wedge salad and homemade dressing.

Great hometown pizza place, it’s nice to have a local restaurant. Pizza is good, I highly recommend the sausage. It’s crumbled and delicious, but I’d order extra if I were you. They’ve been a little stingy with it lately despite the pizzas being on the higher end of the pricing spectrum. For as much as they ask for their pies, the least they could do is give a normal amount of toppings.

This place is the bomb. I grew up in Fuquay Varina, right on the border with Holly Springs. While I now live in Raleigh, Homegrown Pizza was essentially a weekly staple for my family when I was growing up. Needless to say I was thrilled to see that it was still open when I was last in the area. Everything I’ve ever eaten there has been fantastic. They have a good variety of craft beers on tap, as well as bottles and cans. My mom and I decided to stop by for lunch and a drink. She got a pizza (pictured) and I got a monstrously large calzone. Absolutely delicious, just as I remembered! Do yourself a favor and give this place a shot. It is stellar. Lastly, kudos to the waitress who took care of us. Unfortunately I do not recall her name. She was the only one working and yet she seamlessly managed to wait on four or five different tables. Homegrown Pizza for the win.

Homegrown has been my favorite restaurant since I was a child. New owner is making horrible changes.
