I have eaten here twice. Once by myself and once with my wife. We both enjoyed the food. The brisket sandwich is very good. We’ve had two sauces and they were both pretty good. It’s not fancy, it’s not gourmet, but its a good place to grab a quick bite that taste a lot better than “fast” food. I will definitely go again.

I’m always excited about a new BBQ restaurant. The suburbs are generally lacking. I ordered the two meat combo. Brisket and pulled pork. The brisket itself as the previous reviewer stated was good. The pulled pork ok. I agree with sides being nothing special. My big turnoff was the sauces. I didn’t care for either. The tangy sauce had way to much mustard and the sweet wasn’t great. They do a good brisket. However I’d rather go to the Texan, smoque or q-BBQ. This one isn’t great. It needs work.

Had pulled pork and the sausage with Mac and cheese and Cole slaw. The wife had the St. Louis ribs. The sausage was ok. The pulled pork was good, as were the ribs. The sides were fine too. The main issue I have is that the sauces were not good. They were flat, no depth of flavor and under seasoned. When you spend the time to create good meat and then throw some crappy sauce on it as an afterthought, it kinda sucks. Fix the sauces and you got a winner of a BBQ joint up north. Some tangy pickles and sweet tea wouldn’t hurt either

Stopped in for dinner on 3/12/2016. First time. My wife and I are barbecue fans and have been looking for something local that compares to what we find when we are in Tennessee or Oklahoma.

Picture this place as a sort of Southern Style BBQ version of a Chipotles, and you’ll have a good expectation of the interior decor, layout, and order process.

July 8th 2015. Decided to try this place for lunch. I ordered 2 meat platter. I had brisket, sausage, Mac n cheese, corn bread, and Cole slaw. My girl had half slab ribs w/ beans and potato salad. Total was $35 for lunch for 2 people( I almost walked out rite then). The first big disappointment was the sausage, it was completely dried out and looked like it was over cooked days ago, not overcooked today but days ago. This sausage was 100% not fresh cooked today. Next disappointment was the Mac n cheese that looked and tasted like it was straight out of a blue box of kraft mac n cheese for kids that they added some cheese wiz to in order to thicken it up a bit. The corn bread had to of been leftovers from yesterday. It was hard and couldn’t even take it out of the tin cup it was stuck in. The word horrible comes to mind when thinking of the cornbread. Next the brisket was surprisingly decent. It wasnt all dried out (like the several day old sausage). The coleslaw was decent as well.

Food was Great with taste Testing before buying the Peach Cobbler dessert was Delicious with a Very Home Cook Taste, will buy again Taste Tested the Sweet Potato Mash was Delicious , and asked for a side of that and the Server forgot to put it in my bag, that’s okay because the Supreme Club Sandwich was very Good right Meat to Bread Ratio, Loved it. Will be Back Soon; My Son Nikko Referred Smoking Pit BBQ, to us and when he said The food was Great I knew we were going there he Raved about the Pulled Pork and Chicken Sandwiches, and Must not Forget The Mac & Cheese was Superb. We went 10 min before Closing and Still got Top Notch Supreme Service and Food. Thanks Guys we Will be Back and will Refer Diners to Eat in or Take out this Down Home Cooking.

Worst-thin ribs I have ever had. Sauce terrible! Would not go there again! Tried Monday $9.99 full slab. It seemed like 6 ribs. Very little meat. By 6:30 my son came to meet us and they were out of ribs! Told him it would be 45 minutes!

I have eaten here multiple times since it has opened, lunch, early and late dinner, and the food has been fantastic. Brisket, St. Louis Ribs, Pulled Pork, Pulled Chicken, Sweet Potato mash, and corn muffins are all the items I have tried and would rate an A+. Give them a try and see for yourself.
