Great restaurant is the Village of Providence in Huntsville. Good food and great bar service. They are really know for the live music on the weekends. Thursday nights they have karaoke. If you looking for a place to get a drink and listen to live music, this is your place.

We used to frequent the location when it was Brickhouse so we thought to give it a try. Great, friendly, attentive staff. Ashlyn was our server and she took care of our 6 top very well. The place got busy around 7pm but the ambiance was good and the music at just the right volume. We were able to hold conversations no problem. She was on point making sure our needs were met. My family enjoyed the meal. We left right before the band started but we’ll be back. The new interior looks great. Really enjoyed our time there tonight!

Nice little bar located at the center of the village of providence. Good service, nice atmosphere. They have an awesome outdoor courtyard. The inside is also nice. There was a band that sounded pretty good. The stage is set up very well you can see them from anywhere in the bar. Cool place.

So I haven’t eaten here recently after having a bad experience with over-priced and undercooked chicken strips I had when it first opened, so I can’t really comment on if the food had quality has changed. I really like the atmosphere and service has been good. However, I did notice a “2.5% service charge” on my bill recently. It didn’t account to a significant amount, but it was annoying as it was an after menu charge. Why do this? It just seems dishonest to the customer. Give me the cost upfront.

They water down their drinks! An Old Fashioned should never be almost clear!!! It wasn’t like it was a one off. We ordered several of them and they were all watered down. Very disappointing.

First visit last Saturday night. Didn’t order anything. The food at FF downtown has always been good, so I’ll visit again to dine. But never again for the music necessarily. Due to the confinement of the building I understand there wasn’t much choice in placing a stage inside. But the acoustics were terrible being I’d hate to think it was the band. Tho they were crammed inside the square, room-like box of a stage, piled on top of each other. So not sure if the loud screaming for music was to make up for what the stage setup lacked or what. But it was awful. SO LOUD and you could barely make out much of the song lyrics. Think twice before going to see a band here in a sardine box.

Paula and I went to Monday night steak night. Waited 15 minutes for anyone to acknowledge we were even there. Ordered our salads first and asked to wait to put in order for our steaks. Over an hour later our waitress asked if we were ready for desert. After an hour and 15 minutes we asked about our steaks, never got them cashed out and will never be back. Worst experience ever. To start, as soon as I got there I went to the bathroom where I was welcomed with a member of the kitchen staff leaving a stall after taking a #2 and not washing his hands. That was foul. Then, when ordering my food I told the waitress I had an allergy and asked if she could check with the cook to see if it was safe for me to eat. She came back and informed me none of the kitchen staff spoke english so she couldn’t ask them. Drinks were good, but don’t eat here unless you feel like getting salmonella.
