We picked Shokudo for our Sunday lunch. Place is clean and minimal, which felt nice and open. We were greeted by Natzki (hope I got her name right), she was warm and professional, and was attentive throughout the service.

Cute spot with good unique flavors. Place is brunch vibes but for any meal. My FAV is the Soy garlic pasta and Katsu don rose pasta! Katsu don pasta is like chicken parm but better because it’s crispier and plenty of sauce . They have lunch special for $14 on certain pastas which comes out good too if you dine during the timeframe. The kimchee bulgogi pizza is also good. Drinks are fine. There’s parking right next door too. But outdoor seating is only for takeout last time I was there.

Restaurant is clean. Service is good. If you need anything, there are buttons that one can press on the table. Portions are good for lunch. Donkatsu was made perfect and meat was moist and not dry, which is great. Pasta was delicious! Latte was legit. Will visit again.

I love to go to Mavi’s for Korean style pizza and pasta. I’ve tried several of their pizzas, but I think the kimchi bulgogi one is their best. The rosé spicy rice cake was great (would’ve been better if it was a bit more.. rosé as in creamier like vodka sauce). The spicy shrimp spaghetti was delicious as well. I ordered the pineapple ade as a refresher, and it was good (could have been less pulpy). I just wish they had a better parking lot, it’s always filled up as they share it with 2 other restaurants. There’s still the municipal parking lot right behind for paid parking.
