Price of oxtails have gone up everywhere, so I’m not surprised they were $23.99! But if I’m craving them, ima get em. Been back in VA for a week and came across this place. Was not disappointed at all! Great flavor. Great portion size. Overall a great meal. Ordered through door dash, but plan on going inside within the next few weeks to try other items ☺️☺️

Staying on the beach we Google mapped for Caribbean food. Chose this place using reviews and location. Food was great!!! Had the jerk chicken and Escoveitch whiting. Both great flavor. The jerk was sweeter than I like but was still great. The cabbage was awesome, the plantains great, the rice and beans good.

I paid $23 for a LARGE oxtail platter and got this little bit of food..if I wanted a lunch special, I would’ve just gotten that. Definitley not worth all that money,and no, I didn’t eat any out of it before the pic was taken..I understand everything is expensive,but can I at least get my money’s worth?

To say that I was disappointed after spending over $70 dollars is an understatement!!! The lady in the front taking the orders kept yelling at the people in the kitchen which makes sense as to why they kept messing up orders!!! The food is cold, the oxtails are so small it’s hard to enjoy them and the food don’t taste a bit Caribbean but more of a watered down version.

It’s soo good. I’ve been going here since before the pandemic and they have always had great food and great service. Danielle helped us today for lunch and as usual the food was on point. I even ordered a drink since it was my day off and the rum punch was perfect. I normally take pics of my food but didn’t today cuz I was starving but here’s a pick of my drink. I ordered curry chicken wit rice and peas and cabbage and my friend ordered fried chicken with greens and yams. Yummy

This place was very clean and the food was prepared in a timely manner. I ordered the shrimp and salmon pasta and a beef patty. Everything was delicious. The beef patty had a nice kick to it. Staff was very friendly. I would definitely come back.

I ordered the curry chicken and coco bread. It was inedible. Coco bread was dried out and hard. The curry chicken was probably cooked the way they intended it to be and it tasted like artificial Jamaican food if you know what I mean. I will stick to Jerk Time.

The establishment was clean and the customer service was good. However, this was the nastiest carribean food I have ever tasted. All you could taste was garlic. The cabbage was too salty. This food has to be left over from yesterday. My husband’s chicken was so hard. 2 lunch specials and drinks definitely were not worth $25.

Great taste, but how is this a large anything. 3 bones and a wing. I have never not seen a place not add rice to two compartment(it’srice,cone on now). Lay them three plantains Ya’ll call a side a top the rice. This VA Jamaican food is different different.
