Every dish was either beyond or or average. The vibe is great- very Japanese. We loved the fried chicken cartilage and chicken gizzards the most. Very amazing Japanese izakaya and we’re so glad we found this place. Will definitely visit again!

I… LOVE… THIS… RESTAURANT! This is likely the best Izakaya (Japanese Bar Restaurant/Snack) in San Diego. They have an excellent electronic ordering system (just like in Japan), and all the food – ALL THE FOOD – is simply delicious. I would make this a destination restaurant, and will definitely be coming back. Don’t miss this place – you will not be sorry.

Picked up an appetizer for $10, little did i know that when I got home. I soon realized an issue, that this was the smallest portion I’ve ever seen. I could see this as a $6 item but i know everything is going up. The taste was good but not for the current price. Round #2 i came back and i never wanted to spit out food faster. Not impressed anymore.. the rice on our rolls were mushy, also ordered the chicken heart yakitori and it appeared to have just been microwaved. The yakisoba was too wet. The only thing we ordered that was good was asparagus bacon yakitori. Not sure happened to this place…

The yakitori items are delicious! We ordered pork shiso, pork belly, and scallop, they are all amazing, grilled to just right. We also ordered a wasabi shio maze soba, it’s our first time trying it out and it turn out to be also delicious – a simple dry noodles with soy sauce and abit of the wasabi tang, we love it! Will definitely come back !
