1st class smoky delicious red beans and hot fine fried catfish with side salad. 1st class cheeseburger on fresh crunchy french bread dressed. Perfect lunch with great service.

I first visited Lil Ray’s in the late 90’s with my grandparents. I remember a super friendly staff and a mouth watering poboy. That was the first and last time I visited as I am not from the area. A few years (and hurricanes) later, I had the pleasure of visiting again this week and was not disappointed. The service was exceptional, and the food was hot and every bit as good as before. High compliments, Lil Ray’s!

Excellent roast beef poboy. When it came out with a fork I knew it was going to be good. Staff was friendly and courteous. Will definitely return next time I’m in the area.

We love this place! Kelly is always so sweet and nice. Literally the only spot we go to when we want some good crawfish.

Though I no longer live in Mississippi Lil Ray’s is always a favorite place to eat when I’m on the coast. The quality has always been excellent.

The waitress was rude, and took forever just to get out drinks. She took other peoples order b 4 she even started ours. We decided not to eat an entree just ordered an appetizer. We drank our drinks, ate our fried pickles and left. From now on I will go to the long beach location where everyone is nice.

After moving from NOLA about 5 yrs ago, we struggled to find poboys here with good bread. Once we found Lil Ray’s, it became our go-to for a treat. Prices are a little high on some items, but the service is great, and the food is good.

Food was good. I requested a French Fry poboy which isn’t on the menu but they made it for me. Nobody came to refill my drink and my husband’s poboy was served dry without the requested extra mayo.

They tried to make me pay double for a go cup because I ate in. First they told me there was a Styrofoam shortage and when I said B.S. manager told me they don’t have time to buy go cups so they charge customers twice. Small frozen shrimp on poboy. Avoid this place . To make matters worse I received their response that is a bunch of lies trying to deny what happened. It’s not likely that I made all this up. The waitress lied while I was there and this “manager ” told me There is a Styrofoam shortage and then changed the story that they didn’t have time to go to Sam’s club to buy Styrofoam cups. The only true thing in her response was I was offered a 8oz. Plastic Go cup normally used for a free water cup. Who would pay for a fountain drink that is that size. I didn’t bring up the few small shrimp because it was the least of the several problems I had with bad service and the lack of a decent size go cup with 100 degree heat we are experiencing. Miss. “Manager ” do you want to deny the 100 degree heat also ? LMAO
