This place had a great atmosphere. The staff was mostly helpful and friendly as well. My steak was delicious, but I wasn’t a big fan of my side. My girlfriend wasn’t too impressed with her entree either. I wasn’t a huge fan of the food choices just not my cup of tea and didn’t seem very creole either. Not saying the food was bad necessarily just not our cup of tea. If you go I definitely recommend the steak!

Was my first day in New Orleans and I accidentally came across this restaurant.

The food was great. We nearly got one of everything from the appetizers to the entrees and it was all great. The octopus tasted like a nice tender piece of meat. The steak was good like a piece of roast beef. Service was great overall and great cocktails as well.

A great spot in the heart of the quarter. You have probably never tasted food like this. Perhaps you have had plantains…with a sweet slaw on top? Adds great flavor to a tasty treat.

The food was awful. Everything was super salty, and the rice tasted like it was boiled in a weird liquid. It looked like something a kid could make at home. The flavor was so strong that I couldn’t get it down. I ate one chicken wing and nothing else. The plantain was a little too burnt and came with a sauce that did not have a good flavor. The waitress tried to fix this, but there was nothing that could be done honestly. (Side note: if you are a POC you will know that this is not good food).

The atmosphere in this place was a great vibe. From the lighting to the building itself, I enjoyed it. I was on a food tour that ended here. So I tried what was recommended. I really enjoyed the plantains.

I am so happy I found Nola’s latin fusion hidden gem in the French Quarter. The service experience provided by Jordan, Emily and Yana surpassed my expectations. We enjoyed perfectly mixed cocktails, crawfish croquetas (to die for with chunks of crawfish in it), steak entree (cooked perfectly) and the crawfish rundown entree. Please stop by if you have a chance, you will not be disappointed. The portions are generous so we didn’t have room for dessert. Congrats to the chef(s) for bringing something unique and flavorful to the area.

So going to leave a explanatory review. Food flavors where amazing! Vieja Rojas, coconut shrimp Currie, brussel sprouts fantastic! But plan to order appetizer AND a meal as portions are very “petite” for a NOLA restaurant and something I would expect in NY. Cocktails where very good but quite pricey for serving size again something I would expect in NY or LA. Interior and decoration was very cool and felt like the quarter. Cant say enough about the treatment from all staff from last minute table to attitude everyone we encountered! (Exceptional) I leave reviews as much for the owners as the people looking to give it a try.

We only tried the cocktails which were delicious. Staff was nice. However, I find the 20% mandatory service fee outrageous, especially because the drink menu doesn’t say a word about it, so it came as a surprise when we got the bill.
