What a find! We loved the feel of the place as soon as we walked in. The walls were decorated with photos of military service people and first responders. The food was excellent. We’ll definitely go back the next time we are in the area!

This is their smaller portioned biscuits & gravy plate. It cost almost $15⁰⁰ for the coffee & meal which was pretty good (they do work hard to be as reasonably priced as possible) . I love how they’re a veteran’s family dinner & how they’re always full of chattering. Dinner itself is cozy, it’s was pretty chaotic -in the best way with music & constant chattering- when I went there. I personally tipped the waiter 2⁰⁰ that day because she was working front by herself & it was a morning rush. Highly recommend bringing your patriotic people here because it’s an instant hit: there’s pictures of veterans covering nearly every speck of every wall, they decorate early for memorial & 4th of July, and they’re a very “proud of freedom” type of space. Also, their serving sizes are way large so reccomend going for brunches if you’d like to eat a full sized plate (mine’s a smaller appetite plate).

We were a good size group, two adults and five kids.., and the service was exceptional. The kids were handled with respect and listened to when they placed their orders and everything came out as it was supposed to. Heading home from visiting the ilani casino in Cowlitz. Googled breakfast diner’s and this place popped up with 4.7/5 stars so we thought we’d take a look and WOW this place did not disappoint! Free parking and it wasn’t too crowded. We probably got there around 10:45am-11am on a Thursday. The server welcomed us and told us to take a seat anywhere so we picked a booth. Took a look around and saw many beautiful portraits of military personnel from different decades and different branches! So cool.

We were recommended going here as the best place for breakfast in town. Well I haven’t had any other places breakfast yet but it might take a while for that to happen because we LOVED our entire experience. Mandy is one of the best sweetest restaurant owners I think I’ve ever experienced in my life. Her personality and laugh made my morning. My kids loved their food. We loved our food. The berry lemonades were delicious. The food was very affordable. There was a veterans theme on the walls which is always great. You get the whole experience here. Highly recommend.

Tiny place and busy so we ordered to go and ate in the car. Amazing food!! Sourdough pancakes are sooooo good! The biscuits and gravy are like no other! This place knows how to cook! Will be back!

Came here because I have married friends named Matt and Mandy! They serve breakfast all day so even though we came in around 1pm we ordered breakfast. The biscuits and gravy was delicious (good portion of gravy to biscuit), Omelet was decent, pancakes are nice and fluffy, but our favorite was the Ham steak! If you come, get the Ham steak!

I found this place looking for breakfast near La Center and did not like the other options but I went here for the first time and the staff was very friendly and wow what a great breakfast! Omelet stuffed hash browns and pancakes…the best! The food was hot and very tasty. Try this place you will be glad you did! Oh and by the way the price for all this food was a deal.

I went to the fat moose bar yesterday to get a bacon cheeseburger, it was good so I we t back today to get another one a d the waitress was in bad mood and no smile so I did not want to start my day of relaxing with a burger from them. So I went right next door to Matt and Mandy’s to see if they could help me with my BacoN Burger craving and they exceeded my expectations and I possibly had the best Bacon Burger of my life there. I got to choose what kind of cheese and I went with Swiss. Thank you Matt and Mandy’s for one heck of a lunch. I’m forever a customer of yours. The potato salad was a hit as well knocked out of the park
