Just moved to the area & happened upon Catrick’s. We sat in the no smoking section & ordered the sugar daddy burger & tenderloin sandwich, both with French fries. We loved our meals! Prices were fair & the pie looked great. Serve a special starting promptly at 5 pm. Will come again!

I had the BLT salad and it was huge and very filling. About 50 of us came for lunch (we called ahead) and they handled it great. It was going to be a limited menu for the party but they didn’t have one of the options due to supply chain issues so they had us just order off the full menu. Despite that being more work for them, we got our meals at roughly the same time and everyone I saw really enjoyed it.

Got here at about 11:30, they had already stopped serving breakfast. Okay, that’s on me, so we ordered lunch. I had the “hot beef sandwich” which is served open faced with mashed potatoes and brown gravy. How can meat manage to be dry when it’s sitting underneath a bed of brown gravy? Date ordered a sandwich and fries. The sandwich was good, the fries were not. Only saving grace was the slice of lemon meringue pie we shared.

The food was VERY good and our waitress Barbie was absolutely lovely, though I can tell the younger staff are much less effective at their job. The food was fairly priced and came in a timely manner. The only reason for my 3* to the atmosphere is the old west isn’t my type of thing.

4 of us ate and only one order was correct. The server wrote everything correctly but the kitchen didn’t care to read it and make our order correctly. Servers didn’t seem happy about being yelled at by the owner very much either.

Great lil spot for some home cookin! Service was friendly and prompt. I had the pork tenderloin sandwich and fries. The horseradish was delicious!! I highly recommend stopping by and giving them your business!

This is the best down home home town family stke great home cooked Cafe you will eat at since Grandma died. BEST IN The KC Area ,BAR NONE. Come on up to Lawson Missouri you will love all you choose to eat. Tell them Kay Kern Berry sent ya!!
