Ning Ye is always always awesome. We’ve been going for years. Donna and Tom, the owners, are wonderful people who work incredibly hard. The food is some of the best around. Great for take-out. Seriously, I don’t think there’s better Asian food in the Grand Rapids area. Go get some!

First time ordering from them & was pleasantly surprised! Sesame chicken tasted fresh & light and the egg rolls were the best we’ve had in a long time! The only downside was the fried rice we upgraded to for $1 more (ordered a dinner) was JUST rice. No meat or veggies. Still tasted great!

Best Chinese (and top rated for Asian cuisine) I’ve had in Grand Rapids and when you ask for extra spice they actually deliver! Friendliest people who run the place, too! If you can stand the heat ask for “kill me hot”…for me, the habanero hot is on point! It doesn’t look like much inside, so don’t go for dine in if you want impressive atmosphere.

First I’d like to say the owners are extremely nice and thats the reason I did not write a review on my first visit. Save your money and possibly food poisoning… A few months ago I spent $50+ on all different kinds of items from the menu and not a single thing was good. Anything deep fried tasted like they fried it a week prior and then tried it again to reheat. One of my employees picked up an order today without discussing with myself who has prior knowledge of the quality of food and was disgusted! I respect and support local businesses but also would not want anyone wasting money when they decide to toss the food in the garbage. Hopefully the owners will take this review into consideration when preparing the food but if not this place WILL NOT last.

This is a small, locally owned restaurant that serves up quick and tasty food. The owners are so sweet and always willing to go the extra mile. We get take out from here once a month or so and it’s fast and reliable. Overall, a great place to get a meal!

We weren’t quite sure as to how we could post this, but to all of our patrons old and new; my parents have officially retired! Thank you to our loyal customers for 13 years of great service. My parents were able to happily retire a whopping decade early because of you all. Thank you for letting us cook for you, and thank you for attending my father’s kitchen concerts. Very good selection of Chinese, and a small selection of Chef Specialties which are Korean. Always easy to eat-in, and take out isn’t a problem. One of the best West Michigan Asian restaurants.

Always a great meal at Ning Ye! We call in our order and it’s ready when we get there. We especially like to do it on holidays and special occasions so we don’t have to do prep work and dishes!
