This restaurant is a family favorite! It is clean and the food is always just what you expect! Family friendly. Meals average ( up to $17 for a great steak to prices most can afford. Portions are more than generous to fill even the most hungry of customer. This restaurant is clean and the waitstaff have always been attentive to everything. We try to make it here twice a month. Birthdays are made special with the deserts made on the premises. A sneaky quick word to the waitress had a special desert with a group of the wait staff arriving to the birthday person, singing to them and amazing piece of cake with candles glowing! Well one of the best restaurants around Syracuse.

Came with a rather large group, with a reservation, and service was poor. They were simply not prepared to handle us, and as time went on actually got snippy with us. There was great confusion when it came to orders, and over an hour passed after bread and appetizers before they even submitted our dinner orders, despite its being almost the only people there. Several people also had issues with their food preparation, though most had nothing to complain about once it actually arrived.

This is the 2nd time we have been to this restaurant and this time was awful. The waitress, Elaine was very unattentive. The restaurant was not busy yet it took over 45 minutes for our meals to be served. We were only a party of 6 with 3 of the meals being breakfast meals. Once the food was served, a fretta was served 10 minutes later. We didn’t receive toast that was ordered nor did she check on us once after the food was served. But as soon as we were leaving, she came right over to clean up the table then had the audacity to yell out the front door to see if we signed the receipt. Seriously? I’m pretty sure we had to sign it once we paid. Thank for a terrible meal and we will never return. Also, I will deter anyone else from going there. As a previous server, it’s one thing to be busy and non attentive but it’s another thing to blantely ignore a table. The food was awful as well. The 2 steaks were over done, some of the food was cold but she wouldn’t know because we were ignored. Thank you for a bad experience.

There is no better broiled haddock in Syracuse; it’s done to perfection. The wait staff I have found friendly and attentive. I hardly ever leave without a carry-out container, due to the sizable portions.

Was seated right away. 15 minutes later I was never acknowledged not even for a drink. I left so I’m not sure how the food was. I would not recommend.
