Food is good with variety of options for Vietnamese cuisines! Service is quick and professional. I always want to order bones (xi-quach) along with main dishes. Very good for family styles! The store sometimes could be very noisy!

I came to Ghien Mi Go #byjoy Restaurant for the first time and I was impressed by how busy it was. The place has a nice ambiance and some cute spots for taking photos. I ordered the Hai Nam Chicken, which is one of their signature dishes. It came with yellow rice, cucumber, cilantro, and two sauces. The chicken was tender and moist, but I felt it lacked some flavor. The rice was also a bit dry for my taste. The sauces were good, but not enough to make up for the blandness of the chicken and rice. The portion size was decent, but the price was a bit high for what I got.

Throwback review: This place is quite good. Our first impression is that they have this beautiful decorating Mì Gõ cart right at the door that you can take pictures with. Their mì gõ is good and I ordered dry mì gõ with a bowl of broth on the side as always. The broth tasted exactly like those mì gõ carts on street that I used to have with friends after school. Yum! They brought back a lot of good memories. A bowl is so so big with tons of noodles and toppings and I could not finish the entire bowl, same for my sister.

Their specialty ‘hu tieu’ is average due to the broth being kind of bland. The ‘bo luc lac’ is chewy while the rice is under cooked and dried. This dish is supposed to used filet mignon, but no. Even with lower grade cut of beef, they were stingy on the beef. The serving in the pix is before we started eating. Small quantity, 5/10 flavor for what you pay. The place is new so the decor is nice. Unless they improve, the crowd will eventually die out in about a year.

One of my favorite places to get noodles and bun bo hue in OC. It can get a little hectic and busy during peak hours. Expect to wait a little. Food quality and taste are great. Service is quite good. Restroom is spanking clean, which surprises me especially for a busy vn restaurant.

The service was terrible, the servers seemed like they were held at gunpoint, the food tried to give me heart failure with all the grease, and the bathrooms felt like cheap saunas. The food was served to us immediately like it was there for a long time waiting for someone to order it, and the hygiene is not good. I hope whoever reads this doesn’t buy from this restaurant because it is basically robbery.

If you’re looking for an authentic Vietnamese experience, this is it. Yes, there are small tables and chairs (there are also some regular size tables), which may bother some people, but it’s because that’s the usual table style found in restaurants on the streets of Vietnam: low tables, small stools. There’s a giant screen showing scenes of Vietnam while you eat. Strong viet heritage vibes. The food is slightly bland in my opinion, however. (Apologies for the bad pictures; forgot to take them before we started eating so they don’t look as nice as when they arrived) This place made me feel really homesick for Vietnam, though ^-^’
