This particular CAVA in downtown McLean was a competent franchisee who served their great menu in a great manner. We stopped in after Errands in the Tyson’s Corner area and found a friendly staff ready to dish out. No fuss no muss. Plenty of strip mall parking out front, so dont worry about parking. Lines are nonexistent here during the weekday evenings.

I love CAVA McLean. The food is delicious and I like how fresh it is. Most of the time I get one of their curated meals — the Greek salad bowl and the Spicy Chicken and Avocado pita are among my favorites — but I also really like how you can get exactly what you want. And they have such a great choice of toppings and dressings! Another reason why I keep going back to CAVA is the staff— they are so friendly! The CAVA McLean must be well-managed because it is always clean, and the workers don’t seem stressed. The food is great value for the money, both for its quality and the quantity. So I highly recommend CAVA: you get high quality food, without having to wait, in a clean environment, with very nice staff.

Smallest portion sizes I have ever seen a restaurant have the balls to serve. The sizes used to be ok, but it has become pathetic. You are lucky if you even get a half scoop of protein. They even skimp you on the rice. Not to mention, if you choose to dine in, they use an even smaller bowl into which they put even less food. I didn’t want to have to write this review, but this has been a consistent problem over the past several times I have visited. I can’t speak for the portion sizes you might receive in the future, but I would strongly recommend saving your money and avoid paying $14 for an empty stomach like I did.

So I walk in, I see the place and I’m curious. As I open the door this horrible here hits me but I head to order. While I’m ordering I see the employee sweating, I look around and the whole crew was too. The food was good but that environment with no AC is horrible.
