It was almost empty when we came in on a Friday night, which isn’t a great sign, but we decided to order the sampler platter to share and it was great. It was plenty of food for a decent price, and everything tasted good. The green beans were a little too spiced (too salty, too peppery?) but were okay. The Mac and cheese was classic. The meat was somewhat dry, but the bbq sauce was good. The ribs were excellent. The bar was closed and the outside lights were off. I’m not really sure why or why it was so empty, but we had a good time.

YALL. This place is a little dime on Breaker. Food was great, I got the honey Buffalo chicken sandwich which was giving Honey butter chicken vibes (HBCB iykyk). My husband got the brisket melt and said it was “awesome”. They have a HUGE back patio/yard with connect four, corn hole, darts AND an outdoor stage venue which is super reminiscent of Shady Grove vibes (RIP ). && they have live music!! This place is THE upcoming homie hangout!

We are in town just for the weekend and happened upon this place. The live music is great, bbq is solid, and of all things, the green beans are next level. Could use a few more beer options, but great experience nonetheless. I’d definitely be back if I lived in the area.

I absolutely love bbq and am picky: so glad to have discovered Oakwood BBQ, finally!! The food was out quick, service was exceptional. I had the sampler of pulled pork, brisket, sausage and turkey, all very tender and tasty. I had three sides, green beans seasoned with pork, beans seasoned with brisket, and creamed corn. Also tasted the potato salad. All so good! The atmosphere is nice, a few guests but not loud. I plan to return and check out the big backyard and live music.

They offer a decent BBQ but nothing to brag about. For this place being promoted as “Beer Garden”, I was expecting to find a bigger selection of beers. Patio area is nice, plus they often have live music on weekends.

Went to this location for the first time. I purchased 2lbs of ribs, 1lb of brisket, mac and cheese, potatoe salad. Food was tasty, tender. 45 minutes later my brother, his girlfriend and myself were all running to bathroom, experience was very bad and not pleasant. Stomach cramp and diarrhea lasted about 2 to 3 hours leaving us feeling bloated and naseaus. Sorry, but I felt I had to say something.

Fun little barbecue spot with some really good food. The brisket and pulled pork were really good. Barbecue beans had chuncks of brisket and jalapeños. A little spicy, but still delicious. Ribs had a really good bark on them.
