My girlfriend has been raving about the Cajun chicken sandwich, it’s a bit spicy to me, so I tried the grilled chicken and was not disappointed. I had it with honey mustard and french fries. Definitely going to have to try some more of their dishes soon. The waitress was fast and friendly. She turned on the Pens game for me to watch and we had a great conversation. Definitely recommend stopping by sometime.

I ordered gnocchi. Presented almost with no sauce, had to ask for a side just to cover. No meat included. The sauce tastes like battery acid. This was a bad experience. The salad wasn’t bad, blue cheese dressing ok.

Goodfellow’s is an awesome local place that is inviting for families. Family friendly prices. Nice menu selection. I had sausage and spaghetti. My Italian taste buds were underwheled with the sauce and sausage. The meal seemed microwaved. My wife had a cheese steak. She felt was sparse on meat in a great toasted bun. The food was good. Not great. But the family atmosphere makes up for it.

I had an excellent order of stuffed shells, they were hot, fresh and delicious. The marinara sauce was most excellent. I was pleased that the meal (dinner item) came with Italian bread and a side salad, it’s been a while since I was at a restaurant that served bread with the meal. My other friends with me primarily ordered sandwiches and pizza, they all raved that their meals were great too. Service was very good and the restaurant was quite busy even though it was 2:00 on a Saturday afternoon.

The food is outstanding for a local pizza joint. Pepperoni roll is my favorite, but meatball sandwich, pizza, pasta and lunch open-face chicken sandwich are close behind. This place is so popular locally that they have trouble keeping up with demand. I suppose that’s a good problem to have, though. Lunch service is always fast and good. Dinner service ebbs and flows. Take out is always challenging. The food — no matter when — is worth the trip.
