El Techo had great signature cocktails, great food, great ambiance, and reasonable prices. They put a time limit on tables so you can get in quickly, get great service, enjoy a couple hours, and make room for the next people!! An extra perk is the free two hour street parking in the surrounding neighborhoods! I definitely recommend. Cheers!

The food was pretty good. My issues are with the place itself. The table they sat the three of us at was barely enough space for one person. It was roughly 58° inside the restaurant. We had to stack plates just to fit all the food they brought to the table. It also took about 40 minutes to get dessert because the server forgot. Good tacos, guacamole, and margaritas. For the experience, I would go anywhere else to get tacos.

First time there. It was cute but very small. For the crowd and business they get they should think about moving to another location ♀️ I was by myself and they had me squeezed up at the bar next to the drink mixing supplies and etc. the food and drinks were very good it’s just small and crowded.

Food and drinks were really good. The service was pretty attentive with a reasonable wait considering the place was packed with people. The music was a bit loud which made ordering more difficult than it needed to be. The place is open air and colorful. Good vibe.

The food and drinks were really good! The decor was cute but the music was way too loud for my liking. It’s to the point where I was yelling to talk to the person right across from me. I do recommend to have more fans available for those hot and humid days. Be advise parking is a bit scares, do I suggest Uber.

Head upstairs. The staff is the warmest authentic group of people I’ve seen in many of DCs restaurants. The people keep me coming back and the positive vibes keep me staying longer.

I really liked this brunch spot. A little busy when we showed up so the unlimited mimosas was slow. But towards the end they gave us a pitcher which made up for it. Recommend to go!

First time visiting this place and definitely not the LAST time. From the hospitality to the fresh food, to the strong delicious bottomless drinks and prompt service I was HIGHLY impressed. They accommodated 15 people at the last minute during Howard Homecoming! Destiny the host was amazing and our waitstaff Aslin was phenomenal and bubbly, and was very attentive. Francesca also was a wonderful waitstaff and kept checking in on us. Shout out to the manager of this establishment because everyone was singing the same song and delivered exceptionally!!!!

Visited on a Saturday for the brunch – it can be somewhat challenging to find because its located right above Rito Loco. Make sure to make reservations because they get packed on the weekends. Reservation are for 2 hours of time. I loved the decor and the atmosphere was really fun and vibrant. We had the guacamole, the chicken quesadillas, birria tacos, margaritas and mimosas. The guacamole was great (as you can see I forgot to get a picture before we started digging in lol)! A must have! The birria tacos were just were pretty good and the quesadilla were very tasty and clutch – will definitely be back for them. The margaritas were too sweet for my taste but the mimosa did what needed to be done. Overall I enjoyed the atmosphere, food and drinks enough to want to return for more. Definitely a place to add to the list.

Love this place! I went here for brunch with my friends for my bday and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere is awesome, the Burria tacos SLAP and I really enjoyed my breakfast tacos too! Not to mention the margs are awesome, and if you ask they will give you pitchers for bottomless. Go to brunch here!!
