Scott was born and raised in Parrish, FL. He went to school at FSU and embarked on a career that combined some of his favorite things: being on the water and restaurants. He spent some time in Colorado, but it didn’t last long until he had to get back to the Florida Beaches. He joined up with The Brown Boxer Pub & Grille in Clearwater Beach and worked his way up the chain of command. One day he finally came to his senses and moved to The Florida Keys to open The Florida Boy Bar & Grill and best is yet to come!!

I really wanted to love this place. I was looking forward to it so much. So excited about the reviews, but The French fries were the worst I’ve ever had the burger was OK. Was on a drive and stopped somewhere new – cute lil spot in front of a resort. Bartender was so real and had lots of personality, Mac n cheese was good, steak was fire, and they make sure you have exactly what you want and how you want it. will be back to try the gator bites! Love that we get a discount for living in the most pricey place ever

Stopped for snack and drinks. We ate at bar had drinks. Bartender very nice. She gave a local a discount thought that was nice. Drinks and food were good. Price was as expected. Person was playing guitar. Could add a couple of items for non fish people. They do have a hamburger.

I think this restaurant only does good because of the hotel behind it. Staff always acts inconvenienced, food always takes forever to come out. They have you “seat yourself” but then will just ignore the fact that you sat down for 20+ minutes. Bartender today looked like she couldn’t be bothered to be there. Food is fine but service is horrible. Better places to waste your time in the keys then here.

Look, I realize I’m originally from Louisiana and have a higher bar for seafood, but everything here seemed prepackaged and mediocre at best. Extremely expensive for what it is. If you’re staying at Lime Tree you’re better off going somewhere else with your money.

Went the for lunch with my honey … Colleen the bartender made our experience pleasurable… She recommended the tuna nachos which was to die for (definitely a must try) we also got the gator bites which we enjoyed … the staff was also welcoming .. will go back for great experience and good food … one of the longest happy hours on the keys as well ! Great service and delicious food! We went here twice on our trip to and from Key West. We had the shrimp Flo-boy as well as the grouper Flo-boy, and Mahi Mahi Tacos and everything was perfect! Our server Jordan was awesome, super friendly and helpful and even remembered us the second time we visited. Very cool place!
