Our usual go to Chinese spot is closed on Sunday and we were craving Chinese food and this was our first time trying Chong’s. It truly did not disappoint. I love that they offer a variety of Asian foods.For example: You can get your Japanese/Hawaiian fix with some chicken katsu, Thai with pad thai, or traditional chinese food where the selection is pretty extensive. I’m pretty picky with the bbq pork but they nailed it. We ordered the Chong’s special friend rice and chow mein which has a little of all the protein mixed it, again, very delicious! The katsu, crispy, juicy, the way it should be. Would definitely come here again.

I loved the hot and sour soup! Really spicy! Two friend had beef and broccoli. One said the beef to broccoli ratio wasn’t great and the other said “eh” when asked how the food was. Overall I’d go again.

A been a regular at Chong’s for over 10 years. The last year it has gone downhill. They changed everything. Everything is very salty, their sweet and sour sauce is generic and flavorless now, and portions seem smaller too – it’s really terrible. Very sad to say but after three bad experiences I will not be back. So long to one of my favorite Fresno traditions.

This has been an excellent restaurant for me to go the last 10 years I went there about six months ago ordered a combination plate and when I got it home and opened it and when I started to eat it it taste like it was burnt. And thought they’ve always done a good job here I’ll try him again. I picked up a combination plate yesterday and it tasted burnt or like it was cooked in old oil and everything was covered with his burnt brown layer. Unfortunately this will be the last time I go there
