I recently visited McDonald’s in Carteret and had a great experience. The staff greeted me with a smile and took my order quickly. I ordered the hash brown and chicken biscuit sandwich, and both were cooked perfectly. The hash brown was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, while the chicken in the sandwich was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The biscuit was also moist and added a great texture to the sandwich.

Closes at 1am. I show up at 12:52am and pull up to place my order and the automated message says “sorry, but we are currently closed”. Yet there are 2 other cars at the window being served. Mind you when I got there, there was a car in front of me that successfully placed their order. I then pull up to the window and the staff basically ignored me. Your store closes at 1am, so why was I not served? I just got out of work and was craving McDonald’s. UTTER RIDICULOUSNESS!!! Why do places close earlier than they are supposed to? Highly disappointing!!!!

Keep coming back here bc i work in the area. Every time i ask for no cheese i get cheese. Every time i ask for no onions i get onions. But the sticker says the correct instructions. So either nobody cares or it’s being done on purpose. Don’t eat at this location if possible, they can’t fulfill simple requests.

They’re customer service is horrible poor manager. Not fresh to order. They are rude when making specific requests. Like extra sweet and sour or no cheese. Always garbage and food left over on the tables. The lines are always so long they take forever!!!!

I like to stop here when driving to and from Newark Airport. Service is always fast and fantastic, it’s very clean, and food is prepared well. There’s also a small strip mall next door with a couple of other well-run businesses. It’s right off exit 12 of the NJTP, and parking is plentiful.

I’ve been so traumatized by Englewood NJ McDonald’s that this one felt like a regular 5-star restaurant. In reality, the food, the staff, and the friendly service are how the golden arches should be run – with consistency.

I’ve had a lot better. For whatever reason, everything in this McDonalds tasted off. Fries weren’t salty, nuggets were different. The burgers were accurate. But I was still thrown off. It’s fine, they do a good job and nothing feels overlooked on purpose. But unsalted fries will make any McDonald’s customer wonder “what happened?”

I was at the drive thru this afternoon around 4:30 first I ordered a sweet tea my drink was straight water. I got back in the car I ate one of cheeseburgers as I ate it I didn’t taste any meat so immediately I took apart and there was no meat. I was so livid then my French fries was crunchy not fresh. My first time McDonald’s disappointed me.
