Stopped in today for lunch and I don’t mean to be rude but I’ve never been this shocked by how DISGUSTING the food was. I’ve been to China many times and went to culinary school to know how good Chinese food is and this place serves what taste like DOG FOOD I took one bite of each and spit it out it was THAT bad and threw my whole lunch away! The worst food I’ve ever been served in my life hands down. The fact this place has been open for many many years whilst being this horrible raises some suspicion. DO NOT EAT HERE

We ordered three entrees from China Gate restaurant for take out. The food was ready on time and hot. But, our Curry Chicken and Singapore Chow Mee Fun, was so overloaded with dried hot red pepper pieces and red pepper seeds it was inedible! It is labeled spicy , but this was beyond hot for us who regularly eat spicy food. The Beef Chop Suey, was made was thick, flavorless gravy. This was the first and Only time we will order food from China Gate!

There was a rather large piece of metal in my general tsos chicken. I have no idea how that could have been missed. The professionalism is lacking, they had me wait on the phone and didn’t know their own menu numbers for food. They also didn’t give me a time for when I should pick up my carry out. That’s nothing to that metal think that would not have been too good for me if I actually ate it. It’s safe to say I threw everything out after seeing that.
