First time here and it did not disappoint. I ordered the Chinese Chicken Salad, hands down the best salad I’ve ever had, was very refreshing on a hot day and the dressing was amazing! Everything we had here was pretty good. They have a wide variety of delicious cocktails, and we really enjoyed the ones we ordered. The entrees were decent, although the burger we ordered was a tad dry. The ice cream pie was the highlight of the night. Overall a place to visit again.

This restaurant should have more than a 4 star rating. This is my first time in Melbourne. Pineapples was recommended by a friend that grew up here. It is St Pattys day weekend and Spring break. We called ahead to see if we could make reservations. They were no longer taking reservations due to a full list. The guy on the phone said they take walk-ins and even suggested some times that should be less busy. When we got there, we choose to sit on the 3rd floor over the 1st for the view. Within 30 minutes of sitting down, we already ordered our appetizer (calamari) and drink (prickly pear margarita). Well, it started to rain. Tasha, our waitress was great. She quickly offered us to stay and wait or go downstairs. We went down and I thought it was going to be a mess. I was wrong. We arrived downstairs, they sat us and our appetizer and drinks arrived within minutes later. The manager on shift this night was Michael. I watched this transition without everyone looking stressed. We asked Tasha for suggestions for dinner, she gave us 3 choices. We ended up ordering the scallop appetizer and the pineapple burger for dinner. Everything we had was delicious. Thank you for a great experience and delicious food.

Update: Tried an Impossible Burger based on the recommendation from my friend. I’m not turning vegetarian but I’ve wondered how they taste. Holy cow! It tasted just like beef. We also ordered Pineapple’s Chicken Sandwich and grouper Fish Tacos. All were as wonderful as the view of the river. We will be back soon.
