I’m not a breakfast guy, let alone a biscuit person (and of all the biscuits, I’ve tried from all over the US, what do we always find ourselves doing? Add jam or butter). Not this place! Glad to see Rise did their duty and brought justice to the typical recipe for biscuits. I can’t stand a dry biscuit, but Rise did it right. Can’t go wrong with the blueberry! And I will tell you that I don’t have a problem with breads and fruit (pineapple cornbread is another thought that comes to mind about another southern staple). Service is good and for post-COVID times, order-to-pickup is sustainable and quick to serve. I would definitely make this a top choice over a dunkin or any other quick breakfast sandwich shop for a bite. Can’t wait for more locations. Don’t need a billion fancy donuts either. Hope they have some solid coffee to go with all these delicious selections to get the workday started.

If you’re expecting a quick bite, unfortunately this isn’t the place. We’ve gave Rise three tries and it seems the inventory management and efficiency of the kitchen needs improvement. This was evident to us after waiting 32 minutes for a sausage and biscuit sandwich—two items which should be ready-to-go at a restaurant like this.

Ordered the chicken box, tenders came burnt. I ignored the burnt smell and attempted to eat anyway, inedible. To the point where the delivery service credited back our purchase money. Biscuits were stale, beignets avoided being burned, but were far over cooked. For a place claiming southern style fast food, huge let down. Southern or not, couldn’t even eat it.

Ordered through the app. Worked well and food was ready promptly. Usually the food is excellent. The chicken was excellent as usual. Nice amount of chicken that was nice and crispy outside. The only issue this time was that the biscuit was a bit dry and crumbly. I will say that this is unusual. Typically the biscuits are excellent as well.

Amazing. One biscuit it enough to fill you up! The Nashville hot chicken biscuit had all the right flavors and made me feel like I was in Tennessee again. The fried tomato and pimento cheese biscuit also delicious. Can’t wait to come back and try more.

I place my order online and start driving.. ALWAYS READY!! I go inside, say thank you to the staff, find my name in the order box, press 1, head back to work… this easy, yes, but seriously my fave breakfast.. I love the fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese on a cheddar biscuit… I also build my own biscuit sometimes because I LOVE LOVE LOVE putting the hot honey butter on everything… protip: if u love hot honey butter on just the biscuit, you gotta eat it hot in the car.. that’s a meal itself tho.. I had a hard time typing “ just the biscuit” because these ain’t just biscuits folks .. 🙂
