Came here for the first time today and loved it! I ordered the brisket sandwich, sweet potatoes, Mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes. Everything came out relatively quick! The food itself was hot and delicious. If you are looking for affordable BBQ, I would highly recommend. It’s super inexpensive. I will say there is definitely better BBQ places however those places are usually way more expensive. For the price of this place, the quality is really good.

Typical bbq spot. Love the sauce. Ordered rib tips. They were more like shredded meat. BBQ rice was bland. Mac and cheese was decent. The brownie was perfect – soft and gooey. Average service for take out.

I unfortunately had a pretty sub par experience here. Service was slow and not very kind, the sandwich I got had very little meat (lots of bun), and the Mac and Cheese was very bland. This is the first under three star review I’ve given, but it probably doesn’t help that I got bbq in Arizona last month. Still likely won’t be coming back here 🙁

The food was absolutely delicious! Both my husband and I can’t wait to go back! We both left completely satisfied with the flavor, serving proportions, and our choices! We both got the Mac & Cheese and I got a pulled pork sandwich with a corn bread top! So good!

We both had the half slab of ribs. This selection comes with one side and a corn muffin top/cornbread. I will say that the cornbread was decent. My friend said his macaroni and cheese was decent as well. However the rest of the meal was a disappointment. The ribs didn’t have as much flavor as I would have liked. I used a lot more BBQ sauce than usual. I chose baked beans as my side. They had a weird aftertaste so I did not finish them. I’m a Southern Girl born and raised so I do know good BBQ and sides when I taste them. This was not it. We will not be going back.

I ordered a full plate of ribs. It came with sauces, a brownie, and some cornbread. I was very pleased with the order. The ribs were cooked to perfection and the sauce was delicious. I didn’t expect a brownie to come with it so that was a nice surprise. I will recommend old southern barbecue and will definitely be returning for more food in the future.
