A long time ago, in the bustling town of Austin, Texas, a man named Mike Rypka bought a food trailer and a red Vespa. His dream? To start a taco joint. Like all great chefs, he filled his first menu with more experiments than meals — and thanks to some trips around town on his Vespa, and overheard iterations of Damn, these tacos are good! at the food trailer, it was declared a hit.
The rest is history. Well, history in-the-making.
With countless tacos eaten, over 60 locations opened, and thousands of Taco Junkies added to the Torchy’s family, some things have certainly changed, but the dedication to making high-quality, cooked-to-order, Damn Good tacos remains the same.

So good! After a long day of travel, we stumbled upon this place and loved it! They had some of the best chips and queso we’ve ever had! We also split 4 tacos, because they all sounded so good. We had the baja shrimp, brushfire, chicken fajita, and the democrat .The best was the chicken fajita! The salsas that came with were so good. Some were spicier than expected, so we mixed and matched. Will absolutely be back when we visit Colorado again!

This place is off the charts fantastic!! The food is out of this world flavorful and oh so very good. I doubt there is anything on the menu that would not taste amazing. I highly recommend the chips and guacamole! Best guac ever!! I tried three different tacos and all were super flavorful. I had the Cougar, Tipsy Chicken, and Baja Shrimp and the accompanying sauce, which take the tacos to a whole new level!! Fun and modern atmosphere. Amazing service!! I highly recommend this place!!!

I had a short stay in Denver on a business trip and several people recommended I try Torchy’s. I am so glad I did. In the 2 days I stayed there I visited 4 times.

the food is a little pricey (but what isn’t these days?). The service was quick and friendly. If you are in the mood for some street style tacos I highly recommend this place. the tacos are stuffed to the max, and the salsas they come with really tasty. They even have breakfast tacos which are delicious.

Management, you should be aware it’s a health code violation to have delivery drivers fill up customer’s drinks. There’s a reason why customer’s food is sealed in containers and only handled by staff members. These drivers don’t have clean hands to be handling open containers. This seems to be a new policy you’ve implemented where customers picking up food are not given a time frame or any help from staff, they’re supposed to just wait for their order to come out. If that’s the way you’re planning to operate then you should be making sure that the cooks are getting the food out on time. Pick up orders shouldn’t be getting pushed to the back of the to do list if you’re not planning to even let the waiting person know when the food will be ready. Asking for help from staff was painful, it’s clear they want nothing to do with helping the people waiting for to gos. Regardless of the customer service experience for to go orders, the drink policy needs to be changed before it’s reported. Since this is new maybe you’re unaware. I’ll be happy to edit my review once it’s changed to follow food code safety regulations.

So… this was my first time here and I must say, that the only thing better than the great food and amazing house margarita was the outstanding service from Emily! She made me say that! LOL… seriously, this will not be my last time to Torchy’s and especially not at this location! Pictures are the Republican, Crossroads, Roja Salsa and Hillbilly Queso!

As usual the tacos are always great but anymore the service at this Torchy’s is abysmal. After waiting 40 minutes for a margarita I tried to get a refund as I had already been done eating for a bit at this point. Instead of a refund though I was told I’d have to give them my receipt and call back in a couple days as there was no one present that could do refunds and they can’t find my order number without keeping my receipt.

So hadn’t been to Torchy’s in years but got a free half birthday chips & queso so stopped in and got the green Chile pork, the Republican & the Democrat tacos. So really torn here because I wanted to love it as I had in the past but everything was cold! The queso was cold, the meat on all 3 tacos was cold (the green Chile pork was at least a lil lukewarm) and even the guy at the register was cold lol seemed very uninterested in taking my order. Only thing warm was the tortillas. They had a nice crowd watching the world cup so nice ambiance. And the flavor on the sausage of the republican was good despite the temperature. The tacos came out in like 3 minutes so I’m assuming they were pre-made which may explain it. But I’ll definitely go again, and update the review if it improves

Hard not to compare to Wahoo’s which is virtually the same concept (Order at a counter, get served after sitting) and close by. The food here is good, but it’s the value which is a problem. You really need 3 tacos to fill up whereas Wahoos gives you bigger tacos, so you only need 2. We spent almost $60 here for 3 people, which just seemed like an awful lot. (And I only had 2 tacos, my guests each had 3.) It’s too much for a fast casual lunch, with no table service.
