I haven’t been to an American Deli in at least 4 years and I was craving wings so I decided to go to the one on Victory Dr. It was clean in there and the associate who was raking my order was nice. I didn’t like that he had his mask just pulled to his chin but I digress. I asked him how big the wings were and he estimated with his fingers indicating they were a decent size. I placed my order for a 6 piece, all flats hot lemon pepper wing combo with fries and a drink. Once it was ready the first thing I noticed was how small my wings were! They were about the same length as my pinkie, dry looking and quite pitiful. When I asked the associate about the size he made an excuse and said they come like that sometimes. I asked to speak to management to see if I could get a few more wings and he begrudgingly said he would give me ‘2’ more! I understand we’re in the middle of a pandemic and production is down but what about ‘quality’? And why are we overloading the plate with sub-par fries to try to hide the fact that the wings are pitiful. I have never been this disappointed after eating my wings as I am today. American Deli please do better. This was not worth the money.

Super disappointed today with the Gyro I just got. One flat lettuce leaf?!? Are you kidding me? And the fries were cold. The weakest Gyro I’ve ever had- which is weird because I once had THE BEST gyro from this same place. Ugh. On top of it, I didn’t get the extra Taziki sauce I paid for.
