This is a very needed change in the restaurant scene in Broken Arrow. True authentic flavor, clean, and great service! Out of the hand full of times I’ve ate here I have yet to get anything that wasn’t a delightful meal. Prices match the quantity and far exceed in quality. Have taken multiple people from work and family that have come into town. HIGHLY recommend to go eat here. Get a normal plate with 2 meats and 2 sides and leave full and happy! Bonus if you indulge in your sweet tooth and try the tres leches cake!!

The food is incredible!! Authentic Mexican food, for real authentic, and just, so fresh and delicious!! Prices are great, portions are perfect. The line/ordering is still working out some kinks but it’s totally worth it, the owner is helpful and so kind. They have Mexican candy/chips/treats at check out and some amazing desserts.

The 2 meat plate is a whole lot of food. More sides than just rice and beans, but those were very good too. I loved the squash on the side. I added the cactus to my steak in the largest corn tortillas I’ve ever had. We’re excited to try more. I was happy to have enough leftover for a steak and egg burrito the next day.

First time here. Waitstaff and kitchen staff were extra friendly! Explained everything on menu to me. Very quick preparation and check out¡ my burrito was so big I shared with some one else, and it was so delicious!!!

Food was just ok. They don’t have many condiments you would expect at a Mexican restaurant like salsa and sour cream. No chips and salsa or queso. Drinks…you have to buy bottled water/soda ($4.50 for water!) so no refills. They did have 3 drinks in containers with a spigot but those refills are $1.00. Went on a Friday evening about 7:30 and only one other couple was there. Now we know why.

Went here for the first time today. I wasn’t sure what to expect as I had never been to the other location. Upon entering, we were asked it was our first time and they gave us a rundown of the buffet and menu items. We went with the normal plate with carne asada and chicken. It came with rice and beans and a huge tortilla. It was great! The flavors were wonderful, the beans and rice very nicely seasoned and cooked, and the chicken was crispy skinned and had a good kick of heat. The prices were decent as well. The staff were very friendly and helpful right from the beginning and until the end when we were done, they checked on us and got us a to go bag. The only thing to be wary of, if you are like me and don’t typically purchase soft drinks or anything, I typically just drink tap water at restaurants, El Gallo Loco does not have tap as an option, so if you wish to drink, you need to purchase bottled water or other drinks. Having said that, they have a pretty nice selection of drinks to choose from and the bottles of water are about a 1-litre size, so its not bad. Other than this, it was a great visit and I will certainly be back. Thanks!

I have not tried the restaurant, but I have had the breakfast burritos from the truck out front a few times. The Carne asada is my favorite, and it’s the best breakfast bargain in town! The turnaround is quick even when they are busy, but the food is always fresh and hot. Skip the drive thru breakfast joints and have a breakfast burrito experience here.
