I went here today for lunch. It looked like they’re a family owned restaurant. I got their lunch special fajita with chicken. Their food was delicious and the staff was very courteous. Our server even got another free refill of the nachos and salsa, which I appreciated. I love their customer service and dedication to good food.

I got the Burrito Zapata. Its the best “shoe” I’ve ever tasted! Smothered in cheese sauce, bursting with flavor (cilantro), and just the right amount of spicy kick! With rice and beans inside, prepare to ask for a to-go box.

Mi Mexico is definitely the stereotypical Mexican restaurant, with the Hispanic decorations and traditional music. They offer a variety of typical foods like burritos, enchiladas, quesadillas, fajitas, and more. Of course, you get heaping portions of food. I had the Vegetarian Fajitas, which was pretty good. As a side, I ate the bean dip with chips – I prefer less cheese on my bean dip, but I didn’t think to ask for it that way. I tried the churros for dessert. They were okay with honey, but a little over-fried if eaten plain.

We loved it! The kids were excited by the . They talked about the way the booths and chairs were painted . All four of us had fabulous food. The shrimp fajitas had lots of shrimp and my husband said his combo meal was great. BOTH kids ordered Mexican food and loved it. We will definitely go back

The staff were very nice and easy to talk to and fun and make you feel welcome the second you walk in the doors! The food is so delicious and they offer a menu that has great variety of different plates to try out . This restaurant is the best out of the other Mexican eats in Alexandria, and Mi Mexico is first pick in my book!

This Mexican decor and style in this restaurant was very detailed and pleasing to the eye! I was very impressed with that in itself. That wasn’t the end of it! Our waiter was very nice and had a detailed description of any meal that we asked about. The food was phenomenal also! I will most definitely be going here again when I visit Alexandria! I was dining with two children.. good kids menu too!
