Hit up Montana Cafe for dinner during our Cook family escapade – did not disappoint! The kids were all smiles with their meals and my tender sandwich was top-notch. Stellar service, cozy atmosphere. We’ve found our go-to spot in town. Next visit already in the works!

For what this place is, it’s really good. Brings small town cafe to a new level. Highly recommend getting there for the breakfast but the lunch is also really good. Prices are reasonable. It can be busy around holidays though so plan accordingly.

Triple Berry Cheesecake waffles were awesome! Looking forward to trying more of the menu and bringing kiddos back for the Pie Shakes and Malts.

We had a great experience here. This is a cute mom and pop restaurant that is well worth your time.

Still an excellent place to have breakfast! The Montana Cafe is an example of everything I like about small town cafes. Sometimes they get pretty busy as one would expect. I’m retired so I can take a late breakfast which is ideal. Thank you for the hospitality and good food!

Really good food with friendly service. I came here with my cousin and we tried fried pickles for the first time in my life. It was delicious! The chicken salad wrap was also something I would eat daily. There is street parking, it’s wheelchair accessible, and have daily milkshakes, soups, sandwiches, and salads. The wild rice is sourced locally and I think that’s pretty cool. The coffee is just okay but good for a road trip.

Very nice little place to grab lunch. Glad we checked it out. Food was good but nothing really stood out as amazing. Not a lot of options in the area but I would come back. It was very busy while we were there so it took a little while to get our food.

Great small town ambients and home-style food. Coffee wasn’t great, but it sort fit the vibe. The wait was a little long. I’d go back anyway for the food and old world service / environment.

It’s a small, probably family owned and operated place. Our experience was less than stellar as our server was on her first day. However, give her a couple weeks and I’m positive she’ll net 5 stars! We had mushroom and swiss burgers, the burger was over cooked yet still FLAVORFUL!

Simple, clean, North Woods atmosphere.Loved the flowers out front. Service was quick. Prices comparable to an Applebees. I would definitely go again!
