We did takeout from the Carribean Delight Food Truck on Walzem a few weeks ago. We had an order of the Oxtails with rice and peas and fried plantains and an order of the Brown Stew Chicken, rice and peas and fried plantains. The food was hot, and the portions were ample. One portion is enough for two people. The food was okay but not like any Jamaican we’ve tried before. We may return again and try some of the other dishes.

We JUST found this place and I am in LOVE! Best oxtails I’ve ever had in Texas. They were perfectly tender, and not tough or fatty- great cuts. The rice and peas, baked Mac, potato salad and pasta salad are all LEGIT! Curry chicken is amazing. The jerk chicken and ribs are so great! Everything looked so good we ordered 6 plates for 2 adults and 1 child, because we wanted to try EVERYTHING! The couple was so sweet and we will DEFINITELY be back soon and OFTEN.

I loved the food, portion sizes are amazing especially for the price. Owner is wonderful she made me feel welcomed. I loved the fruit punch and lemonade drink. Will always go back for more. If you need real authentic Jamaican food, this is the spot. Best spot in San Antonio!!! Thank you

The jerk chicken was baked barbecue chicken. The plantains were dry and the mac n cheese was stuck together and not edible. Food wasn’t hot it was warm. Worst Caribbean food ever.. It was definitely not worth the price!!

Stopped by their food truck and I’m so glad I did. Excellent customer service with plenty of friendly conversation while my food was being prepared. Wonderful flavors that complemented the fresh food. I ordered the BBQ Jerk Chicken with steamed vegetables, rice and peas. Looking forward to trying some of the other selections in the future. Well worth it!
