Wow, this is a must stop for your Boudin craving. I tried the seafood balls, the Boudin balls, and the smoke Boudin link. Great stop to stretch your legs and get your Cajun. The kids will enjoy this place as well. Plenty of things to do. And the service is exceptional. Bring a cooler if you don’t, you’ll wish you had.

Don’s is always on my list of places to stop by when I’m traveling from Houston to NOLA. I love their chicken crackin, smoked boudin, and dinner plates. The dinner plates on Sunday are usually great but this time the chicken was really dried out and it was my first time having the boudin nachos but the cheese was so thick and lumpy. Usually a 5 star for food tho so stop by and try them out!

We always stop at Don’s for boudin and cracklins when we are in the area. For the most part everything is good. Sometimes the cracklins are dry. Boudin is always great, can’t go wrong there and they offer a variety. They have beer, wines, sodas, a little deli area for cooked food and also cut meats.

Excellent!! If you’ve never had cracklins before, ask for a sample, they’re very kind here and will introduce you right. While not traditional, I preferred the chicken to the pork and the seafood boudin was amazing. Definitely worth the 5 minute detour from the freeway.

Don’s has been a favorite for Me when in Lafayette for years. I was going to the original in Carencro since 1993 and continue until this day. I started going for the Saturday pork chop sandwich and Boudin and love it still today. They have a great meat market and delicious cracklings both pork and chicken. Make sure you get a chili dog or two , to help you thru your shopping spree there. Great Louisiana meat and boudin market.

Everything there is on par. The service and food are the best around! It’s the perfect place for out of town guests to sample Cajun foods. Service is very quick, so don’t let lines of people turn you away! The food in the back of the store is wonderful!! A great place to stop to pick up lunch or a snack! Try the chicken cracklins – delish!!
