Great atmosphere, and pretty good food. The service wasn’t as great. Took awhile to get our order and when we ordered a bottle of wine they ended up just giving us a glass. But turned out for us, that was enough, since we wanted needed to head out early anyways. There was a larger party there that they were focused on, so I guess can attribute to that? They did say there was a glitch in their system, tho found it hard to believe since others who came after us, had no issues.

An absolutely delightful evening for dinner here tonight. We told our waiter, Jeff who was spectacular btw, to just bring us what he and the chef recommended. They did not disappoint! Every dish and every drink was delicious! I can’t wait to come back again and try all new things next time!

$90 for afternoon tea is absolutely a scam! Look at the food in the photo, the restaurant should be ashamed by calling this afternoon tea. Yes this is what $90 buys. It should cost no more than $10.

Food has gotten more expensive but with smaller portions, but hey what place isn’t. Happy hour is pretty good, but the drinks are the highlight of the place, along with the beautiful architecture inside and out for this place. So cozy and homie, I walk in and never want to leave.

The location was a bit hard to find. Parking options include valeting at the hotel or doing a self park. Once we entered it was rather strange because it’s a Spanish restaurant but there was live music which was more country…didn’t exactly fit the cuisine. The drinks were pretty good. The Violet Beauregarde was a very tasy gin drink. Started with some appetizers. The truffle Fries were very good. The tomato and burrata was also very tasty! Highly recommend. The main dish selection wasn’t that good. Very generic, not so Spanish. The Hanger steak was a bit smelly for me. Finished off with Churros which is a must. All in all it’s a 3.5 star experience for me.

7-9-2023 Friendly staff, great service. Basic but expensive food. Better breakfast/brunch options in the area that are walking distance.

Came here for dinner on a Saturday and we first enjoyed some cocktails at the bar. The courtyard patio seemed nice but the weather was getting colder so we sat inside by the window overlooking the courtyard.

My friend ordered the salmon entree offered from the OC Restaurant Week menu. It was her first time trying salmon so she was unaware of what it’s supposed to look like and taste. There was left over and took it to go. She offered it to me and today it was has for lunch. It was definitely not salmon. See the uploaded picture. If the kitchen ran out of salmon and was being substituted, it should have been communicated to the patron. Upon realizing it was not salmon, i called the restaurant to share my concern. I was told that one of mangers on staff were finishing a meeting and would get a call later today. Needless to say I am disappointed with Ysidora’s.
