4.5 Stars. I’m so impressed by this little cafe! I’ve eaten food from here three times now and each experience has been better than the previous one.

Forest Cafe has delicious food and great service. My boyfriend and I frequent Forest Cafe because it’s a 5 minute walking distance from where we live. We order breakfast and eat there. So far, we have tried chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, breakfast croissant, and carne asada tacos. They are all really good + flavorful, and portion sizes are well worth the price. The tortillas for the tacos taste like they are made in-house and the carne asada is one of the best I’ve tried in the area. Tender and flavorful. I highly recommend this place!

Food. Customer service. This place is NOT your ordinary donut spot. Both the coffee and food are delicious.

I had the chorizo burrito. It was great, I’ve had a plenty share of breakfast burritos and this one was phenomenal. It has great ratio of chorizo egg cheese and beans. Everything just blended so well together. The salsa was good and the side of potatoes were soft and seasoned so well.

Went here for the first time this morning. I ordered the huevos rancheros (beautiful presentation) and my daughter got the breakfast burrito. Both were really good. Friendly service and clean little place to enjoy some breakfast/lunch.

One of the BEST breakfast burritos in town. I get the bacon breakfast burrito and at least 2-3 times a week I wake up craving it so I drive over. Daisy is always very friendly and genuinely cares for the customers that walk in. You can tell she is proud to be there and serve the community. They just changed their store name to Forest Cafe which is brilliant, simple, and a vibe. The store is small but there’s some seating and plenty outside near the Starbucks. I hope to come here for years, I just have to keep jogging daily so I can enjoy these donuts and burritos without gaining too much weight haha. Check them out!

I love this place! Friendly staff, and delicious crepes and donuts! They also serve more items like tacos (which my parents adore), burritos, omelettes, etc! Definitely stop by if you’re able to!

Food was great until I discovered a pretty good amount of hair on all three California Breakfast Sandwiches . 1 sandwich I’d be ok with but 3, was embarrassed since it was recommended to my guest as a great place to get breakfast.

Food had great flavor, but too expensive. Chilaquiles are the least expensive things but where very expensive; no need to do that.

My favorite donut shop is now Forest Cafe. It’s the same place I’ve been coming to for years, but they’ve changed the name to better reflect that they’ve added delicious breakfast and lunch food, turning the donut shop into my favorite Lake Forest cafe.
