Let me start off by saying seafood here has a great seasoning and good flavor. I got what is called the “Tidal Wave” bit on the pricey side for me but I get it. $106 got be 2lbs of king crab legs, two 6ounce lobster tails, 1/2lb of grilled shrimp and prefectly seasoned corn and potatoes. I am not sure if the butter sauce they give you is real butter, didn’t taste like it but it was ok.

I tried the catfish dinner and a side of turkey greens. The cat fish is filleted, no bone in steak style (which I prefer). The cat fish was perfectly cooked, well seasoned. For $13.99 (take out) I got three large pieces, fries, slaw and a bread roll. Although the fish was very good the fries were a little burnt and soggy. The turkey greens were a little bland, I prefer more of a strong smoky flavor but they were still pretty good and not bad considering greens are hard to find in the burbs. I should have looked at the menu closer as sauce is extra and I forgot to order some. They have a few tables, it is clean and seem to do a brisk take out business. Next time I want to try the shrimp and cheese grits which looked really good.

First time at this restaurant and the crab legs were jumping like Jordan they did not disappoint. The shrimp are a great size for a great price. My fiancé had the fried lobster tail and loved it. They give you a great amount of food for a good price. This restaurant knows what seasoning is and isn’t shy about adding a little dazzle dazzle to their food. Great experience can’t wait to try other things on the menu.

Does not disappoint!!! Surfs up has the most delicious red potatoes and corn combo and I love the catfish. I’ve been here quite a few times and it’s always a friendly and welcoming environment. My family loves the shrimp, wings, hush puppies, and fried catfish. Great food!

I have been a fan of their food. So when my corporate director asked about using a black owned restaurant to cater lunch for our Lisle location, surf’s up was my first and only choice! I called the day before, spoke to management and they made it happen! My staff absolutely loved everything! When we order @ home we always have a great experience also. They NEVER disappoint.

I ordered the fish and shrimp combo . When I got home it was fish and wings. It was all very tasty but oily. In general I don’t care for seasoned fries, but theirs were very good. I will definitely go back and get the shrimp
