These folks are SUPER nice and the food is delicious. Get the BBQ Shrimp Po-boy and the onion rings!! It’s a family business and everyone was so attentive and sweet. They gave great recommendations for us out-of-towners 🙂

The best hot roast beef poboy you’ve ever had from a restaurant. I do not lie about food. Even if you have to drive a minute, try it. Almost everything in that place is handmade everyday and is amazing!

Stopped by after visiting Jean Lafitte swamp tour. Great poboys we had bbq and shrimp 8 inch. Served fast hot and fresh. The family that works there gets to know their customer, great folks. One gal found out we were in town celebrating my father’s 75 birthday and brought him a special dessert. I would recommend this place just based on the southern hospitality and the comfortable atmosphere cold ac on a blazing uncomfortable hot day. I also recommend the fried pickles and hush puppies, so yummy! Thank you.

The shrimp on bun is my favorite!! But I recently tried it on po-boy bread but asked to not have the bread put on the grill and that made my sandwich perfect!! Plus I had more!! I did a review on my Facebook page (And We Are Live Again With Duan) titled New Orleans vs Memphis. My daughter and I did reviews on po-boys here and there. Of course Chateau won!!! Hands down!!

Oh my goodness!!!! We walked in at a crazy time and the woman behind the counter was still incredibly sweet and helped us order. The roast beef poboys (which we both ordered) and fried pickles were just amazing. Crunch on the crust of the bread, the perfect amount of gravy and fresh tomatoes made the sandwich hard to put down.
