Amazing! My husband and I were here for the first time and everything was great! Brisket wasn’t done when we placed our order but by the time we were done eating it was ready and we bought 1 lb of it and brought it back home! Oh my!!!!! So good!!

Big D’s house of BBQ, Delicious. The best ribs and brisket I have ever had. Yummy!!! Fall off the bone good. The Carolina gold BBQ sauce was out of this world. Got to talk to Big D himself. Such a great guy.

The smoked meatloaf was fantastic, sides were just OK, but the mustard based sauce was fantastic. I also had a half rack of ribs, very meaty and it fell off the bone, but still was not a favorite. But, that meatloaf earns the 5th star

YOU MUST EAT HERE!!! Hands down the best Baby Back Ribs in the South! I drove up from Florida to visit some friends. We had moved from here about 5 years ago. My husband asked where I wanted to eat. I chose here! I was crushed to learn they had just sold the last 5 racks they had. My second choice of chicken was sold out too. Beef brisket was the next choice. The owner and BBQ Master swung by our table to check on us. I told him next time we drive up I’ll call in my order early. My yummy Brisket was dropped off along with the most wonderful banked beans, potato salad and garlic bread. Suddenly the BBQ Master appeared with a fresh rack of ribs he had been smoking! I had to get up and hug his neck! There were just as incredible as I remembered! MUST MUST MUST… Place to to eat! But go early! Thanks Again! Sam

Holy moly! What a hidden gem! We were in Clemson for a dance competition this weekend and we were invited to Big Ds place by one of our dancers parents. I have never had smoked fried chicken or smoked meatloaf before but I’ll never see meatloaf the same again! The food with delicious and Big D was so friendly! If we are ever back in the area again we will definitely go out of our way to get food from here! Thank you for our awesome lunch after the competition!

Such a special place! It’s got a basic set up but food that will knock your socks off. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu but I would recommend the meatloaf, Mac and cheese, and catfish. Definitely try the mustard bbq sauce, it’s phenomenal!

Drove all the way from Chattanooga TN for this meat! It was totally worth the 2 hrs and 45 minutes for the drive. Everythang was to good. Chicken is tender and juicy, ribs falls on the bone, shrimp fried to perfection, brisket melts in yo mouth. Big D got my business and I’ll be back soon!!!
