Nice to have a Subway in Crandon. The place can sometimes be busy and crowded. Employees almost never wear masks, customers hardly ever, and it is difficult to socially distance during peak hours. If you are cautious of Covid, best to avoid during lunch and dinner time. Otherwise this Subway is clean, and well maintained.

An employee who was having a cigarette break in her car seen me bringing two air rifles from the trunk of my wife’s car and up to her apartment. 15 minutes later two officers rounded the corner to the stairs leading up to my wife’s apartment as my wife and I were walking down the stairs with our one year old daughter in her car seat and I had my two year old daughter in my arms. The officers said where’s Ray we go a report he’s a known felon and he has numerous rifles. Luckily they recieved a tip from someone who worked at the police department and knew that they were air rifles and it’s a hobby of mine. After they investigated and were very polite I informed them I would speak with the manager about the incident to make a complaint. The next day I spoke with the manager and she was extremely rude when I informed her I was a felon and the report made by the employee who was having a smoke break in her car could’ve put my children’s life and my own at risk because of what the employee believed. But the manager then stated she wasn’t a felon and wouldn’t know soo there’s nothing she would do about it. The manager then asked me to leave stating I was being threatening and that she was calling the police. Soo I informed her I was going to record her to protect myself because I knew making a complaint isn’t a threat. But she told me not to and I proceeded to do just that. Shortly after I had left I was greeted by a officer again very polite informed me the manager called on me with the accusation of me being threatening and causing a disturbance and banned me from subway . Obviously nothing I had done was illegal nor was any customer’s in the restuarant when I made the complaint as they just had opened.

5:00 on Friday night and they couldn’t make me a sweet onion chicken teriyaki sandwich because they would have had to open a new package of chicken. Seems like they just didn’t want to. 3 employees and I was the only customer in the place. I left with nothing. The root beer stand in Crandon is luckily really good and can make sandwiches.

The employee that was serving me was not very social. She also dropped my friends 6 inch sub on the floor. She did not apologize nor did she give us any discount in compensation for the longer wait. I then asked what the lunch deal was and the employee did not know so they charged full price for my sub and drink. The employee then also charged my friend for a 12 inch sub when he had only purchased a 6 inch. The other half of his sub that he didn’t eat (but was still charged for) had been dropped in the floor and was placed in the garbage. Alright food, not very good service from employees. This is only in regards to the Subway located in Crandon.
