I found this place accidentally. Glad I did. My party of 5 went as soon as they open on Sunday. I feel like it should have been packed. It’s one of those hidden gems that not too many know about. It’s outside of Atlanta and has everything you’d expect in Midtown or Buckhead. 1942 Social is at the top of my list for my next visit

My daughters 21st birthday brunch was amazing! Great food , service & atmosphere. They were prompt & we’re waiting to service our 34 guests upon arrival! Food came out in a timely manner & the servers were knowledgeable, & professional! They did not charge a ridiculous price to accommodate our large party & we were able to celebrate & enjoy her 21st! We will definitely be back just to support our local black owned business on the South Side of town! Good to know there’s somewhere to go & enjoy without having to ride to Buckhead or Midtown!

The host was nice. Our server Shy was good. The food was ok. The salad wasn’t to my liking it’s all spring mix. The grouper was very fishy. My sister got the nachos and it’s a good portion for $5 happy hour. My old fashioned taste watery. The vibes were good. We left before the band started. There is a 2 hour limit on seating. $5 cover charge per person for the band. Hookahs are available.

Good food and great atmosphere for a Wednesday night date. I was expecting the regular dine in restaurant but this place is more of a bar and grill with hookah and a live Dj. Even though I made the wrong choice of entree the food was surprisingly good. Definitely above average for a bar and grill type of establishment. The shrimp Alfredo got rave reviews and my grouper was seasoned and fried to perfection.

I love their Happy Hour drink and food specials. The daily drink specials are cool too. The lemon pepper wings and sautéed spinach were seasoned very well. The fried zucchini was delicious. The nachos were good. The waitresses have great customer service skills. I love the TV screens throughout the entire establishment. The music is a little loud once the DJ starts, but it’s not unbearable. I’ll be back soon!

1942 Social is not my kind of vibe but that is not a bad thing. It seems more suited towards a younger generation. However, it was very clean and very nice inside. Shout out to my server Cheyenne! She was very friendly, attentive and professional. Now for the food…I had lemon pepper wings along with a social jerk individual pizza. The wings were very good and the pizza was Ok, but I just didn’t care for the thick dough that was used. Overall, it was a good experience and I would like to try some of the other options. Congratulations to the owners on a job well done.

Visited this establishment on June 24,2023 for my sister and brother in law anniversary. We were a party of 34 and was taking care of like it was only 2 of us. Food was amazing and came out in a timely manner. The service was great, friendly, and fast. The vibe was very nice. The DJ was also amazing and put a little flavor to the evening. We thank your staff for accommodating us. We will be back!!
