We had an incredibly sweet and professional waiter, Matt, who made sure we had everything we need, complimented our choices, and got all our orders perfectly. The food was decent. A warm welcome when we first entered. You can feel the history of this place. A small menu usually means they take pride in making each dish to perfection, I can say that is true. They have daily specials that will blow you away. The ultimate brownie dessert was honestly the best brownie I have ever had, it was almost too much. I don’t need another brownie for at least a month. The beer and cocktail menu was also amazing. A must try if you are in the area!

The staff here have been beyond fantastic. The food is good. The menu is simple but everything is well done. Joe the Bartender is one of the most friendly and dedicated bartenders I have come across. Try the hotdogs or the spring roll options. They are worth it. While the mug club may seem pricey you are getting way more bang for your bucks if you are a repeat customer. They have a waiting list. While on the waiting list to get a mug you get all the privileges of the rest of the club. Dogs are welcome in the outside seating area. They even have dog bowls for the pups. Overall a great place to call your home bar.

We had and excellent dining experience. Tried a different vegetarian dish: The Do Gooder Grilled mushrooms, smashed avocado, roasted red peppers, fresh mozzarella cheese with roasted pine nuts, on Texas multi grain bread which was excellent. Our son had a Turkey Ruben and my wife had a veggie burger and both were delicious. Very attentive staff, service couldn’t be better. Not to be missed when visiting Chester.

I loved the Pattaconks Big Island burger with a side salad. Honestly one of the best burgers I’ve had. The meal was prepared with talent and the ingredients throughout were fresh and flavorful. Service was prompt and friendly plus there were plenty of options on the menu. I’ll be headed back here soon!

It was very refreshing on a clear sky day to be with my wife enjoy the restaurant that gives the views of flowing water from below the restaurant. The aesthetics were old cafe brewery like in the dining where we had sandwichs and they were tasty. We are vegetarians and we many times don’t get good options elsewhere.
