I just discovered Big J’s Pizza recently. I was looking for some place that offered good eats without the overinflated price….. found it here!! Great food across the entire menu. I ordered food Friday and I’m going again tonight, 2 days later. The calzones here are fantastic, authentic and made with fresh locally grown toppings.

The pizza I have gotten from Big J’s is not bad, but is also not amazing in my opinion. I do have to say, in my experience, the staff consistently seem almost annoyed when they have a customer. They aren’t mean, but they almost make it seem like they’ve been inconvenienced when I place an order even though I’ve never seen any other customers inside (I’ve walked in to order probably 5-10 times). No facial expression, monotone, lots of sighing. It’s also strangely dark inside the building every time I go in. I’ll come back since there aren’t any other nearby options and I can look past the strange atmosphere / service to get a decent pizza.

Small little place to eat, mainly outside seating. However, calzones are delicious! They give you the option of choosing up to three toppings. Also tried their combination pizza which was also tasty and a garden salad that feeds up to two people. Looks like it’s family owned, a young lady helped me and was the sweetest. Will definitely be going back!

I’m giving a 1 star to get the owners attention, I lost a 20$ I. There or the place next to it. I really need that money back. I’m saving it to buy dog food. I was wearing a green shirt and I had a big afro and my eyes were covered (I think) they may have been half uncovered. I also had jeans. Please if you see it let me know do I can get it back. I was the only person in the restaurant besides the nice lady and the guy drinking lemonade.

Passing through we found this gem. Pretty much outside dining only or take out. The pizza was amazing and the Greek salad was perfect with fresh feta, and marinated vegetables. The people were so friendly and helpful. Wish I lived near so I could come back more often.
