I’ve been ordering from Teatone for many years, but unfortunately their food service has gone downhill over the past few years. Tonight‘s experience was the icing on the cake- we ordered Kung pow chicken and General Tao chicken among a few other appetizers; that was so spicy that my family could not even eat. First off, we love a spice in our food, and have ordered both dishes many of times from teatone and many other local restaurants never having this issue. Not only it was the food too spicy to consume (the abundant amount of red pepper pepper flakes were very obvious in the dish) but we waited well over an hour to receive the delivery after Teatone called to ask us 20 minutes after placing the order if we could come pick it up rather than delivery. 1/5 stars.

This is the second time in a month I took only one bite of the food. It seems they use some kind of cleaning product with a very distinctive taste and permeates the food.

This is my favorite Chinese food restaurant since moving to this area of the Merrimack valley, bar none. The portions are incredibly generous. I love how it all tastes. I will say this is ‘heavier’ Chinese food, for lack of a better phrase; it is very filling, which I appreciate. Teatone has set a standard for me that I’ve found hard to match with other Chinese restaurants, especially comparing their portion size and value.

Consistent quality. Teriyaki sticks are tender and moist. Better than most Asain takeout around. Food can take longer than expected but is worth waiting for freshly prepared food. I love the take-out window they set up.

Well, after spending almost $200 to feed 14 people on Christmas eve, most of us are SICK this Christmas morning. Diharea, nausea, bloting, gas, and heartburn….at least 8 of us. Since I didn’t eat anything yesterday except cookies and Chinese food ….. we are all pretty positive it’s the Chinese food. Not to mention, I’m usually really cautious about where I order from because Chinese food can have that effect on me sometimes. We go here every Christmas eve for the last 3 years. We order Chinese as a tradition. Never once have we had a problem until last night into today. I’m not sure if it’s MSG, or improper food handling and storage. but something is not right because again 8 out 14 of us are experiencing this.

Had no problem with the service so much as the quality of the food I ordered. I got sesame chicken And it was literally 70% breading 30% meat if any I felt like I was chewing pieces of a sponge I would not have minded soo much but this place a bit pricey it also seemed like the chicken in the chicken fingers was very gamey or rubbery.

Teatone appears to have recently increased the size of their pan fried dumplings from large to “mega”. These things are giant, and they’re super good. My favorite Chinese takeout around!
