(An update follows) I loved this place until I got this bowl (see photo). I ordered a pickup but didn’t notice that the store was closing soon, and ended up picking up 40 min after they closed ( the online order receipt said the order would be ready after their business hours actually, but I did arrive late so it’s my bad anyway). I really appreciated that this staff waited for me while closing the store. However, I was very disappointed when I opened the box. It seemed they ran out of many items (including the proteins) and made my bowl without any replacement items.

Great Poke place in Downtown East Lansing ! Service was great and the poke bowl ingredients were very fresh. We tried the Signature choices and felt the combinations were just ok. Prices seem a bit high for the portions given but taste was good. It’s worth trying out if you’re in the area!

So fresh and yummy for my first experience. I got miso tofu, edamame with heaps of veggies and mango/mandarins/pineapple and perfect brown rice topped with a delicious eel sauce. I went all vegan, it is surprisingly great. Thank you.

This restaurant is just soooo good. All the ingredients are FRESH and the bowl tasted so good. And I want to highly rate the professionalism of the staffs. For me, it was really common that restaurant staff mistakenly forget to exclude or include certain ingredients. But the staff in Poke fresh, never missed to perfectly satisfy my numerous topping requests.

The owner always talks about how she’s following industry standards when it comes to her ridiculous prices and toddler-portioned fish. I don’t think she’s straight up lying but she’s definitely stretching some truths. I wouldn’t be surprised if this location closes just like Poke Lab did not too long ago. The rice here is always undercooked by the way.

Do not get your poke bowl from this place, if you do go in person and make sure they are giving you the right portions. This is the third order where my rice is mushy and the miso is extremely salty. I always order the seaweed and crab and it seems like they increased the price still using the same small scoops.There was barely any crab in my bowl. There is no standard here and I can not expect to get a good meal from this place. This is the third time in a row where i have had a bad experience. Idk what happened to this place but its clearly not the same anymore, a hit or miss.
