This place is a great find. There is a wide range of food to choose at a good price. They also have wide selection of ice cream. Finally found a place that has large burgers and you don’t have to ask to have lettuce and tomato on it.

Delicious food, great service, cheap prices! My only complaint is they put out signs for deals then they may tell you “We don’t do that here.” to which I will ask; “Why have the sign out then?” The reply is usually “Friendly’s requires us to put out all signs we receive.”

Service could be a bit better. Our Waitress had too many tables to attend to. (Although she was very friendly and apologetic) Other waitresses stood around. Food was good. Ice cream is always good. Prices are a bit high for the area.

I was at the Pottsville Friendly Restaurant on 6/26/2019 at lunch time with my husband. We ordered chicken wraps. Service from the kitchen was very poor. It took at least 45min to get our food. The waitress said they were backed up in the kitchen yet the restaurant wasn’t that crowded. When we entered the restaurant we stood several minutes before being seated. I have eaten at other Friendly restaurants and never had this poor service. We won’t go back there again. Very disappointed…..

Very clean, courteous, and AMAZING milkshakes. I had a black raspberry with chocolate syrup that I had to use amazing willpower not to down within five minutes. My friend had the chocolate and said it was one of the best he’s ever had. Definitely recommend!

Stopped in for breakfast 1/13. One star is for the omelet w/home fries, it was served hot and was tasty. Second star was for the waitress. She was friendly and attentive,F and apologetic.there, it was down hill all the way. We ate with our coats on, temperature had to be between 58-62. Next was the invasion of the fruit flies. SHAME ON YOU FRIENDLY’S.

Terrible!! Burger was falling apart and a piece of it was missing. Sent back, gave me a new one. Supposed to have NO cheese, I could tell they scraped the cheese off but I ate it anyway. The rest of my party was already to order dessert. Ordered Receess peanut butter cup sundae extra hot fudge, charged for extra but didn’t get it. Young man at register asked how everything was, I said not great! He said okay, rang me up, I paid and left. Wow!! I’ve been here a few times before and it was just average, so I won’t be back!!

My husband and I stopped in for breakfast Sunday, April 8, 2018 about 9:30. First I ordered Ice Tea without lemon-I got Ice Tea with 2 lemon pieces, So now even taking the the lemons out it’s still contaminated. Then I ordered my breakfast, 2 eggs over easy, bacon, 1 slice of white toast, 2 pancakes. I was told toast doesn’t come with the meal – its either 2 slices of toast or pancakes. I said I only want one slice of toast he says he’ll have to charge me extra for the toast and its 2 slices. I said I don’t care I only want 1 slice of toast I won’t eat two so I didn’t want to waste it! I got to thinking about what he said and I didn’t realize 2 slices of toast cost the same as two pancakes. So why couldn’t I get 1 slice of toast and 1 pancake? Well my meal came and I started thinking this is just not worth what I’m paying. The eggs and pancakes were put on the same plate and one of the eggs were broken so I got egg on my pancakes. It might seem petty to some but I don’t like my food mixed before I eat it. So I put the eggs on the plate with my slice of toast. I cut up the pancakes and I thought what happened to the fluffy pancakes I was suppose to get. They were so dry and tough when I cut them I had to tear it apart!. And NO the butter and syrup didn’t take care of it. Used up all the syrup just eating a third of them. So while I was eating another customer was checking out at the register and she wasn’t very happy with their meal either. I guess they were explaining to the guy what was wrong with their meal and he cut her off. So she really left him have it and told him for what she had to pay this is wrong. She swore never to eat there again. When the same guy came over to get me our check I noticed he was the MANAGER. Wow, I thought. I was in the restaurant and hospitality business for 42 years and I never treated anyone like that even if they were in the wrong. And if someone wanted only 1 piece of toast I always gave them what they wanted no questions asked. You know in todays world I guess they treat people differently but that doesn’t mean I have to tolerate it and I won’t. This was the 3rd time we ate at this Friendly’s in the past 3 weeks (and everything was great then)(this manager was not present) and I can honestly say this time ruined it for us and we will never eat there again. Their Manager blew it as far as I’m concerned. And yes I did tell him that the pancakes were dry. We didn’t even get our Senior Discount this time either. I can’t believe they allowed him to become a manage without people skills.
