This is our go to place when we visit from out of town. Not sure where they’re getting the gizzards from but geeze they’re not TX sized anymore. These gizzards were smaller than a McDonald’s chicken nugget. No joke. The chicken and sides were great as always though.

We just had family bring us food. When we checked our two 7tender meal orders they were both only 4 pieces and the manager refused a refund unless we could bring back the entire order of untouched food.

Good food! Had a previous mistake on an order. No biggie just asked to make sure it was right this time. Cook came out and personally assured me it would be right!. They apologized and said it would be a 8 min wait. No biggie! Hot fresh chicken!!! And my order was right!!!

This place is a little on the expensive side when your ordering for family but we like it a lot. The service is ok they don’t really say much just grab your payment and hand you your food no extra comments. We have to wait at least 10 minutes for them to make more food every single time we’ve ever been. Most of the time the sides are cold and soggy by the time we get the chicken. I think paying $60+ the food should be a little better prepared. The last 3 times rolls were not fresh and were dried out chicken was hard and overcooked and tiny tenders. Corn nuggets are delicious (even when they are cold) and sweet. Fried okra is a huge hit in our house fried pickles are really good too but good luck getting any they fun out quick! Fries are good if your getting a small portion but if you get them as a large side they are definitely going to be soggy. The cheesesticks are really good too. Mashed potatoes are good and their gravy is so good to dip everything in. Last time we went our gravy was literally white water. Zero thickness to it so I would assume it was just someone new that made a mistake on that and the rolls. Hopefully it gets better

I love chicken express, eat frequently in the Magnolia location which is excellent. Stop by on the way home at 9pm. Ordered 7 piece tender meal, spicy, fries and a large Dr Pepper with a roll. $18 meal btw.

Food tasted old and not heated up properly. This location sucks, last few times I ordered here the food isn’t fresh and Is lukewarm. Corn nuggies tasted bad, and did not have a crisp when you bite into them.

I usually love Chicken Express, but this was terrible. One of has a roll and one a biscuit. They were both hard and crunchy inside and out (biscuit in pic). The macaroni was dry and tasted very old. The gravy tasted fine, but was very lumpy. I will continue to eat at CE, but not this one. The people were nice, but not the food.
