Good restaurant at a good location: It’s located across the Wells Fargo bank and away from the overcrowded markets. Went there for a family dinner and there were plenty of tables and space for a big crowd. You must go to the counter to order your food and pay upfront. The waiters will only serve your food after ordering, so it’s mostly self-service: Water cups, utensils and condiments are all located next to the counter. Food was good overall: Sashimi wasn’t fresh but the rolls were well made and delicious. They also have complementary soups (miso, corn, and bean).

Casual Japanese style restaurant. Everyone speaks Chinese though. Food is decent. Bonus points for refillable soups available for everyone.

If you want a nice affordable sushi fix then Iwa Ya is the place to be! Beware though. It gets ridiculously busy during the nights. Food is great and as you can see the nigiri pieces are bigger than the usual which is an A+ in my book. Parking is vast, there’s a ton of spots. You order and pay at the counter so make sure you have a spot to sit before place the order.

Reasonably priced Japanese food that’s order at the counter. The mackerel was delicious but the unagi sushi was too soft and way too sweet. I couldn’t finish the second piece. I do like the unlimited self serve miso and corn soup!!

Ordered at the counter, miso soup was good, red bean soup is more for dessert, not too sweet. Everything I ordered was great. Just like Hokkaido.

Simple decor, clean, and great service. Food came out fast and hot. They serve free flow of miso soup and red bean soup. Both soups tasted awesome. I ordered Tonkatsu, crazy lion roll, and Texas roll. The side salad served with the Tonkatsu was fresh. The pork portion was generous and crispy. Super yummy. I love the rolls. Fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Prices here are reasonable too. Thumbs up!

Busy but cozy sushi place. They offer free soup and tea that you serve yourself if you want it. The sashimi was fresh but I took off a star because that octopus was tougher than rubber. Honestly I gave up chewing and spit it out. I’d definitely get the Chirashi again. Overall, it was a nice place to eat at.

Came here for the first time with some friends and was not disappointed. You sit yourself down, order your food and help yourself to water, tea, or free soup to go with your meal. Overall the food was very yummy. If you love sushi this is a great place to stop by!

They were cheap and delicious. The prices here are better than anywhere else. They also provide complimentary miso soup, tea, and a red bean dessert soup. Walking in, you pick up a piece of paper to jot down what you want to get. Then you bring it up to the back and the cashier check you out. There’s even a discount for paying cash. The salmon was my favorite. It tasted very fresh and juicy. I definitely went back to get more. The tuna was a little too tough in my opinion. The eel was pretty good. Their normal rolls were also good. The spider roll had a good crunch to it.
