What a gem! Recently relocated permanently to South Carolina.A dear friend invited me to dinner with her family and go to Little Japan Restaurant in downtown Westminster. What a great place! Friendly staff immaculate rest rooms as well. I personally dined on Teriyaki Beef sticks that was by far the best I ever had. I also had that was obviously prepared to order so so good. Our server was a young lady named Meghan. The other wait staff was very attentive as well. The cashier had the most beautiful little darling named Vivian. So precious. It really felt like home at a time when I am alone waiting for my fiancee to return home (presently proudly serving with our US Army abroad). Don’t pass this place up very reasonable as well! Thanks Brandy for a through enjoyable evening. There was even live music in the street as well. Never so excited as I was missing my Tuesday night jam session back at the Vibe in AP Beach FL…I made the right decision no one even minded when I broke out my harmonicas and played along Yummy!

Ordered the chicken and shrimp with noodles. Some of the best I have ever had. The chicken was very tender, which is very uncommon in my experience with other places. I also had the Dragon roll and it was great. Love any sushi roll with eel.

Best Japanese restaurant ever. When I travel, I always compare others to this one, but they are never as good! The food is always fresh & hot. The chicken & steak are very tender & cooked perfectly! We order take-out at least 2x a week, & it’s always perfect! It’s hard to always get perfect take-out! We dont eat sushi, but others say its amazing! We usually always get the same thing, so Tommy, the owner, has made samples of other things on the menu & sends it to our table or home in our take-out for us to try…for free! 2 of the things he wanted us to try were the rocket shrimp & the eggdrop soup. We order them both now! Great people, great food, highly recommended!

We are regulars, my family and I have been eating here for months. Once to two times a week and get sushi every time maybe the same and we try others. I’m not from South Carolina and have traveled to many places by far the food is great and cooked right. I recommend to anyone even if you don’t eat sushi there are other things on that menu that are amazing.

I work down the street from this restaurant so we order from here quite a lot, the price is always good and the food is always delicious! Can’t really go wrong with this little restaurant, don’t let the outside fool you… It’s a little bit small from the outside but once you’re on the inside it makes no difference, it’s actually rather large on the inside. The experience is great, the people are nice and friendly, food is delicious… Give it a try, you won’t regret it!

My husband and I both ordered the hibachi steak medium rare and it came out tough as shoe leather. It was completely cooked and full of gristle. The mushrooms in the dish we’re not cooked at all. We have eaten here since the restaurant opened and lived the food, but lately it seems like it has gone downhill in the quality. This is the second time that we have had bad food. Also the waitress completely neglected us and only cares about people she knows personally. We left our uneaten food on the plate and will not be back.

Love this place. Awesome music, great food at good prices. The restaurant is clean but a lil dark. The eggrolls are trash though…don’t waste you time. Plus they have pork in them which is even worse. I tried the onion soup and loved it. Im still exasperated by the fact that miso is not sold here. They should sell Japanese Ramen and rice balls. I love sesame balls too. Im nitpicking but the fact remains that this is an excellent restaurant worthy of my praise. Did I mention the music is awesome!?!

Service was great! Sushi rolls were fresh and tasty. Only negative was the chicken in the habachi and teriyaki combos was over cooked and dry. Will be going back often!

By far, by miles and miles, way better than any other restaurants in town and one of the best sushi spots around. I can’t recommend this place enough. Only thing is, they need an aquarium.
