Po-Yo Menu – Danbury, CT

Type : Chicken restaurant

Location : Danbury, CT

At Po-Yo we’re all about chicken! Rotisserie chicken to be exact. Our succulent chicken has been making mouths water at Empire of the Incas since 2005. Now, it’s left the coop and is taking permanent residence here at Po-Yo!

There’s nothing like the classic, but we also offer an assortment of other amazing menu items all made from the “Pollo a la Brasa” you know and love. What goes better with chicken than an iced cold beer? Here at Po-Yo, we offer a variety of beers on tap to wash down your delicious meal.

With that one-two punch, we’re thrilled to welcome you to enjoy the explosion of flavors with a dash of retro-themed fun at Po-Yo!

Based on 70 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 4.0 stars. Price

Food is fresh and delicious. Waitress was very friendly and attentive. Saw many people get takeout while we dined. They seemed to be in and out quickly.

My husband and I visited Po-Yo today for the first time. We were amazed with the beautiful decor and ambiance. The chicken is super juicy and lovely, as we expected. We ordered chicken quesadillas and they were delicious too. As side orders we ordered sweet potatoes, tostones, rice and beans and cheesy fries. I can honestly say that the only thing we really didn’t like were the beans because I believe they lacked some spices. I would suggest that you add the menu to the page and that the greater would be more cordial. Overall I would visit again. Tons of blessings on this new journey!

We’ve been regular customers even before they opened their separate location at Po-Yo, so it’s sad to say we won’t be coming back ever again. EVERY single time we’ve dined in the restaurant and picked up orders, the service is absolutely abismal. The people who work at this restaurant care very little about how their snotty attitudes could impact the success -or lack thereof- of the business. They disregard you completely, lounge around instead of serving customers, and respond rudely when asked simple questions. You’d think business is booming and busy with the way they seem too preoccupied to care, but the restaurant is dry as a desert every time we’re there. This surely will be yet another business we see fail and shut down in Danbury, not because the food is bad, but due to the overwhelming lack of class displayed by the waitresses. We do wish them the best.. but if the business owners knew what was good for them, they’d hire far better staff. If customer service isn’t your thing, don’t work in a customer service-related job.

Amazing chicken and sauces! Super yummy and affordable, and the patio is super cute and set a little bit back off the street so the cars aren’t that close. Loved that they served popcorn while we waited for our food.

My husband and I got the quesadillas to go for dinner tonight, we live a few blocks away and I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while! It was delicious, we definitely will come back and dine in next time for the full experience!

Orded dinner to go for me, my mother and son. Mom and I had the delicious roasted chicken. It’s perfect if you like rotisserie chicken. My son had a kind of a crunch wrap, (I can remember what it’s called), and he loved it. Mom has a salad and fries (they didn’t ask or put salad dressing in the bag). I had rice and pinto beans and mixed them together. Yummy. Definitely recommend this little gem on Main St. Will definitely order again.

Chicken is great and will continue to buy from but the staff is awful. Always a bad experience when picking up my order (they don’t say hello, always make me wait over 20 minutes of the time I ask for and don’t apologize about the wait). I would not eat-in anymore as the waitress had messed up my order the few times I’ve been there.

I’ve been to this location 2 times . First time was ok at best in regards to service . Second time was yesterday night and I have to say it’s the worst service I’ve ever encountered in a restaurant . When I arrived there were 3 waitress all sitting down and they watched as I entered and as I approached not one of them greeted me or acknowledged me at all . I had to tell them I was there to pick up an order . One of them looked at me and said it’s not ready yet when I was told while I placed the order it would be 20 min . When I arrived it was already 30 min . So it should’ve already been done . When I mentioned it to the waitress she just said” I don’t work in the kitchen , you’ll just have to wait “ . They all seemed bothered and she just walked away with an attitude . I will not recommend anyone come to this place unless you want to be treated like garbage .
