Who is rating this place above 1 star? Got the brisket at 530pm, it tasted as if it’s been sitting out for hours and then reheated, staff is rude, kid who brought our meal out to curbside pickup wasn’t even wearing a uniform. Who the heck is running this establishment?

Came in today and bought $260+ of bbq from this location. Waited 2 hours and when we finally got the food. We get home with 9 lbs of meat and no BBQ sauce. Very disappointed. When I ordered the food there were only two employees present. They had to call the “boss” to approve the sale before I could order knowing everything was cooked the night before. Because I ordered 3 of the menu items. This is not worth the money. I and very unsatisfied because of the fact we had to wait for so long and also not getting BBQ sauce when we order BBQ. Plus the brisket is dry. The manager should be on site on a Saturday of all days and people should get what they paid for.

The food was a step above excellent. The service was friendly. Everything is cut/ chopped at the time you order, so it is a little more time-consuming than a fast food place if you want a to go order. The atmosphere could have been a bit cleaner. Some tables needed wiped down, and there was trash on the floor in the lobby, too. The coke machine is out but works for ice. Can soas are available for a drink. I highly recommend their daily special’s menu. I saved about $3 ordering from it on one of our meals.

Expensive and terrible food. Out of ribs, sausage and ice. How does a BBQ restaurant not have BBQ. The one thing they had was some flavorless nasty brisket. IN TEXAS!! That is a disgrace. Do not waste your time or money.

The food was good , we got a rib plate and my son loved it til he saw the cleanliness of this place . There are containers with pickles and purple onions that have a ton of gnats inside. My son ask to never come back to this place because it’s nasty and he is 8( He has never said that about a place before). But there is more. The drink machine does not work which is fine but you still use it for ice and this also never gets clean properly from the looks of things. To top it off the barbecue sauce station has old sauce splattered all over the tea urns and the wall and the sauce looks very old and burnt. I could maybe understand being short staffed but to be eating and see all 4 of their employees sitting at a table in the corners lets me know there isn’t any supervision to enforce the restaurants needs and cleanliness issues. I am a manager of a store myself and this blows my mind to see a nice restaurant being so poorly kept up with .

Not impressed. The ambiance was great. The guys behind the counter were friendly. The cashier seemed like she didn’t want to be there. Sliced beef was dry and the spicy sausage was ehh. I personally think the macaroni and cheese was mush. Just overall not impressed. Definitely not worth $30 for 2 people.

We love Dickeys, but the one here in Kaufman is horrible! We had a horrible experience about a year ago and we thought we could give it a try again. We got the deal going on buy one two meat plate with 2 big yellow cup drinks and get a two meat plate for free.. thats what we did.. we did not get the correct meat that we ordered and we also did not get any rolls.. and we ordered pickle which we did not get. We ordered 2 unsweet teas and they were only 3/4 filled my husband questioned it and was told they were out of tea.. will never go back we tried…
