I’m writing this as I am sitting here. We were welcomed with friendly kind servers upon entering. The atmosphere is quaint and charming place.( We visited during a quiet time ) The appetizer came out very fast and we barely sat down before our server came for our drink order.

Let me first say that our server was really great. We went out of our way to find a restaurant with good reviews while traveling. Food was mostly good except for the heavy plastic and/or dish soap taste that made it into my children’s mashed potatoes. Management’s response was to offer us a free dessert which we declined. I am beyond heated that the cooks are not trained to taste what is going on a plate. There was an unknown substance served to my kids. Do better.

Nice Steakhouse in Sturbridge! The food was amazing. My ribeye was cooked perfectly to temperature and everything was seasoned well… not too or under salt. The reason I gave it 4 stars was due to receiving menus and water glasses that were dirty – food smudges. For the price of this restaurant, cleanliness shouldn’t be an issue. So that was disappointing. Other than that we enjoyed the food and service.

One of the best pretzels I’ve had! Strongly recommend that as an appetizer. I had a wedge salad with steak and it was a great choice. The steak was cooked perfectly and the salad was full of flavor. Great service and great atmosphere!

I’ve been here multiple times and have always enjoyed my meal. The steaks are good, but be prepared to spend $50+ per steak (which is expected at any steakhouse). I love their steak sauces, especially the brandy peppercorn. Service is always great. The only con is that I do not like the layout of the restaurant at all. It’s mostly one big, echoey room with all the tables quite close together. It can be loud and hard to have good conversation in.

The food we had was delicious, cooked well and visually pleasing. We had Chicken Melanise and Apple Chop Salad with Steak Tips. Dessert was Pot de Cream (Chocolate) and New York Style Cheesecake. Both had fresh berries. So yummy! Our waitress was sweet, friendly and attentive – Sophia. Our only disappointment was how looong we had to wait for dessert – it felt longer that for our entrees. The explanation was that there was only one person in the kitchen and everything came in all at once. However, there weren’t as many people there as when we were waiting for our main meal. Oh well – timing.

We can’t say enough wonderful things about this restaurant. The experience was unbelievable! Our server, Patrick, recommended the Red Blend. It was awesome and paired well with the Hanger steak that was recommended. We weren’t sure about the bernaise sauce so we got it on the side, but we would definitely get it on the steak in the future. The au gratin potatoes were the best we’ve ever had. Overall an excellent experience to celebrate our joint birthdays and retirements. We will definitely be back!

overpriced from my point of view. no issues with the service or decor but the steaks are mediocre for the price. i got the by strip it was tiny maybe 6 or 7 oz. others in my party had the filet which was much bigger. no idea of flavor of theirs. mine was over cooked and not flavorful. appetizers good. wings are great.
